Ok. I thought that might be the answer. And has been for a few years now. Seems Sky etc make so much they don't care that their product is available virtually for free and won;t prosecute suppliers or users of these tech's. That's enlightening in itself. They've given up chasing illegal suppliers and just loaded the costs into the legitmate subscribers.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 11:19 amDon't need any Sky subscription you just a pay a nice man about £50/£60 and he'll give you access to about 2000 channels including all Sky, sport, film, documentary, ppv events across the globe for a year via an app.
Surely you must know someone who has one or will do it for you?

It does make me wonder what would happen if they made the subs more affordable. Would it blow the illegal streams out of the water, given the improved quality and lack of buffering\downtimegreenmark wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 11:26 amOk. I thought that might be the answer. Same goes for the HMRC as well. I seem to recall them shutting down a department that was recovering untold millions in unpaid tax because "it wasn't cost effective". Instead we all have to pay a little extra to cover the losses

Yep people wouldn't mind if everything was a reasonable cost and in one place but you need multiple subscriptions to Sky, BT, Amazon, Bein Sport or whatever they call themselves now to watch football which is ridiculous however this is the fault of the Premier League trying to milk every last penny from football fans by having multiple TV deals for sale. You can't blame fans who just want to watch football who season after season are priced out of grounds, buying kits and watching on tv finding low cost alternatives legal or not.sniffer66 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 11:57 amIt does make me wonder what would happen if they made the subs more affordable. The dopey Government can't even jail proper criminals so the chances of going to jail for watching Leeds v Norwich on a dodgy stick is non-existent.
Is it a crime to get Sky without a subscription? I thought it was a civil action that could hurt you. Damages and legal fees.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 12:42 pmYep people wouldn't mind if everything was a reasonable cost and in one place but you need multiple subscriptions to Sky, BT, Amazon, Bein Sport or whatever they call themselves now to watch football which is ridiculous however this is the fault of the Premier League trying to milk every last penny from football fans by having multiple TV deals for sale. Wouldn't have a clue and doubt people care in the slightest tbh, if it's a civil matter Sky ain't going to smash your front door in are they for watching a League 2 game on a Wednesday night? Difficult for them to prove anything even more so with a VPN's or you could use something like The Tor Project, that'll have them jumping through hoops for a long whilegreenmark wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 1:37 pmIs it a crime to get Sky without a subscription? How true this info is and how much is marketed scare tactics from the industry, who knows.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 1:37 pmIs it a crime to get Sky without a subscription? Sky have been raising their prices to me and I've lost the will to squabble with them. They have therefore more than doubled their fees. The answer is obvious, I know.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 2:58 pmHow true this info is and how much is marketed scare tactics from the industry, who knows.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 1:37 pmIs it a crime to get Sky without a subscription? The Norwich manager (David Wagner) got Hudds through the play offs, and promoted, by not scoring a single goal. Maybe after 0-0 at home, he thought he could do it again.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 8:25 pmNorwich have have rolled over inside 20 mins here, look half asleep.
Also 2 important players are carrying injuries (Barnes/Sarjent) maybe should of been on the bench, add to that Leeds are playing with confidence again, the 2nd half could get ugly...

Reckon Southampton could nudge past W.B.A. tonight, although maybe not value.

I quite fancy West Brom to go up. Don't know why, just a feeling in my water.wearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 9:58 amReckon Southampton could nudge past W.B.A. tonight, although maybe not value.
Soton v WBA.png
I notice that some poor sausage laid them for promotion @ 1000 to win 43p at some point in the middle of the season.
Wagner has been sacked.wearthefoxhat wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 9:02 pmThe Norwich manager (David Wagner) got Hudds through the play offs, and promoted, by not scoring a single goal.
