I think this might amuse you Peter. Chatgpt can only use the web to learn and that is why successful traders avoid posting too much on the internet.
Peter Webb's most profitable technique involves a combination of strategies, but one of his most notable and effective methods is trading pre-off horse racing markets. This strategy leverages price movements before a race starts, allowing traders to capitalize on fluctuations in odds.
Pre-Off Horse Racing Trading Strategy
Identify Front Runners: One of Webb's common techniques is to identify horses likely to lead the race, known as front runners. He uses the "Back to Lay" strategy where he backs a horse before the race starts and lays it as its price shortens in-play due to it leading the race (Peter Webb).
Market Analysis and Timing: Webb emphasizes the importance of market analysis and timing. He analyzes market trends, historical data, and the behavior of other traders to make informed decisions. Timing is crucial, as placing trades at the right moment can significantly impact profitability (Bet Angel Academy).
Automation with Bet Angel: Webb utilizes the Bet Angel software to automate his trades. This allows him to execute trades quickly and efficiently, reducing the risk of human error. The software also provides advanced features such as customisable alerts, watchlists, and detailed market analysis tools (Peter Webb) (Bet Angel Academy).
Scalping: This involves placing multiple small bets on both sides of the book to profit from tiny price movements. Scalping requires quick decision-making and efficient execution, often aided by Bet Angel’s automation capabilities (Peter Webb).
Trend Following: Another effective technique is trend following, where Webb identifies trends in the market and trades in the direction of the trend. This can involve backing a horse that is receiving significant betting activity, causing its price to shorten, and then laying it for a profit once the trend has peaked (Bet Angel - Betfair Trading Software).
How Peter bets from CHATGPT 4o
Good example of how misleading generative AI can be. Here is another: -
'Winning on every race at the Cheltenham Festival through betting or trading is extremely unlikely, and there are no verified records or public accounts of anyone achieving this feat.'
Has happened quite a few times now and has been verified.

The OP seems quite reasonable? Which elements would you disagree with?Euler wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 10:36 amGood example of how misleading generative AI can be. Here is another: -

It feels like there's growing numbers of people who think ChatGPT is infallible.
If the human race starts taking everything these AI bots declare as gospel, no questions asked, then we're all doomed!

I would classify this as a hallucination

The other stuff is generally reasonable, but isn't really an accurate picture of what I do. More a stab at some common techniques.
I find a lot of stuff factually incorrect on ChatGPT. It's easy to spot when stuff has been written by it, as it often contains stuff that just isn't right, but sounds convincing. If you have an expert eye it's quite easy to spot.
It's amazing to think that with all this hype on AI, people forget it's been trained on that bastion of truth, the Internet. That often worries me.

Interestingly the stuff I use from it for Bet Angel automations is pretty good.Euler wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 1:45 pmI would classify this as a hallucination

Comes out with some absolute shite for forex automations
Seems clear to me a quality user base from this forum compared to the garbage people have inputted to it for forex (I know it gets content from the web as well)
