practise mode

OK ,i asked this question on live mode ,how many ba instances can i run on practise mode,collecting data on prices ,does this incur data charges.The data has only to be what practice can supply.

You are getting data live from the exchange so the same data charge usage limits apply. Overall data usage is slightly lower, but only a little. So it is recommended you use the same settings and care when using it in practice mode.

Hi All,

Just a note about practise mode (forgive me if this has been mentioned before!). I had my account suspended for contravening some rule or other whilst using the practice mode... a phone call and a slightly grovelling email sorted it out.
I don't know what the rules are on this, but I am sure BA support would be able to help with the usage/data guidelines ?
It was a suprise and a bit of a shock to get caught out in this way! as I do think that the practice mode is an excellent way to improve!!!

Just make sure there is some actual betting activity on your account. If there is no activity but you are using it a lot, then you will probably get pulled up by Betfair. You just need some sort of activity to overcome this issue.

You can use it for how long you like as long as you have the sums you are practising with in your account
