Maybe it’s not really a CB radio antenna.
He might be listening into other things.
He's probably communicating with his mates on his home planet.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 1:46 pmMaybe it’s not really a CB radio antenna.

You will know if he is contacting China if you hear him saying this. 那是十大四的伙计Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2024 3:31 pmThat could be a HAM radio antena allowing him to talk to people all over the world.
That's an interesting thing to say btw
nah - he's jumped on the wagon as an alternative!!Kai wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 11:38 amThat's an interesting thing to say btw
If you look at the neuroscience on decision-making, there is no such thing as free will, only the illusion of it, meaning the choices you think are yours are actually predetermined.
Given how crucial decision-making is for trading, you'd think this would be one of the key topics for traders!
So have you decided to stock up on beer since yesterday?
Jim's right ironically. I'm starting chemotherapy on Friday. Unfortunately, that post I made about having an endoscopy, ironically to the happy corner, turned out to be a cancerous tumour. It means I have to stop smoking and vaping, other than my plastic cigarette, which only amounts to hand-repetition therapy. I might have a drink during one of the rest weeks but I shouldn't really do that either.Kai wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 11:38 amThat's an interesting thing to say btw

Very sorry to hear that, my mother just had a thyroid operation days ago for the same reason. Some people can lose their voice afterwards but it went well and she will probably have to get some chemo as well.Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 12:10 pmJim's right ironically. No beer left but I've got a full bottle of scotch and a drop of brandy I can have with my coffee.

Cheers Jim (and Kai). I'm still weight training and running. My specialist nurse advised me to keep doing it as long as I feel well enough. I'll just take a few days off when the chemo starts and see what side effects I experience.jimibt wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 12:31 pmDerek27 wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 12:10 pmJim's right ironically. hey Derek - good luck with that and try and keep fit. I got a prostate cancer diagnosis FIVE years ago and altho i'm on what's called *Active Surveillance* (sounds like an Austin Powers sequal!! ), it has fortunately remained at a very low PSA level and therefore no imminent treatment. However, I was advised to give up/moderate alcohol and other pleasures. Altho' I did, I actually took up running and general keep fit as an alternative so that I could be match fit for any procedures and at the same time, act as a preventative measure. Long story short, still have my weekend tipples but am fitter now than i was 10 years ago. A silver lining.
Hope it all goes well for you and you make a very quick recovery. All the best.Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2024 12:10 pmJim's right ironically. I'm starting chemotherapy on Friday.
