Nutcase neighbour is replacing his CB antenna with a more powerful one.

You can't live without reliable radio communication in a remote village like Norwich.
Maybe it’s not really a CB radio antenna.

He might be listening into other things.

🤔

I decided to have one more beer before going to bed, it turned out to be the last beer in my stock.
That's an interesting thing to say btw :)

If you look at the neuroscience on decision-making, there is no such thing as free will, only the illusion of it, meaning the choices you think are yours are actually predetermined.

Given how crucial decision-making is for trading, you'd think this would be one of the key topics for traders!

So have you decided to stock up on beer since yesterday? :D

Jim's right ironically. I'm starting chemotherapy on Friday. Unfortunately, that post I made about having an endoscopy, ironically to the happy corner, turned out to be a cancerous tumour. It means I have to stop smoking and vaping, other than my plastic cigarette, which only amounts to hand-repetition therapy. I might have a drink during one of the rest weeks but I shouldn't really do that either.

No beer left but I've got a full bottle of scotch and a drop of brandy I can have with my coffee. :)

Very sorry to hear that, my mother just had a thyroid operation days ago for the same reason. Some people can lose their voice afterwards but it went well and she will probably have to get some chemo as well.

Annoying how all the good stuff is also terrible for us.

hey Derek - good luck with that and try and keep fit. I got a prostate cancer diagnosis FIVE years ago and altho i'm on what's called *Active Surveillance* (sounds like an Austin Powers sequal!! :)), it has fortunately remained at a very low PSA level and therefore no imminent treatment. However, I was advised to give up/moderate alcohol and other pleasures. Altho' I did, I actually took up running and general keep fit as an alternative so that I could be match fit for any procedures and at the same time, act as a preventative measure. Long story short, still have my weekend tipples but am fitter now than i was 10 years ago. A silver lining.

Cheers Jim (and Kai). I'm still weight training and running. My specialist nurse advised me to keep doing it as long as I feel well enough. I'll just take a few days off when the chemo starts and see what side effects I experience.

Nutcase just gave me a demonstration of his CB radio: "Greg, are you there? Are you there Greg?". No, Greg's not there!

Now he's got a mobility scooter and he's attached an antenna and CB radio to it so he can talk to Greg when he's out and about.

Nutcase neighbour out in the pissing rain all afternoon getting shots of lightning. But at least he can talk to people about it at the end of the day on his CB radio.

"Hello, hello, is there anyone out there that likes thunderstorms?"

Hope it all goes well for you and you make a very quick recovery. All the best.
