Some mad odds available. Time for me to dip into some of these I think with the election only 6 months away...

No overall majority 11.0
Conservative losses 101-150 11.5
Oct-Dec 1.22 (surely this is nailed on?)
Getting this thread back onto topic.

Can still get over 8/1 on no overall majority. This is such good value IMO.

Election 4th July, according to Sky sources.

I was wondering why it was such a big price this morning when I heard he's only got a few days to declare it.

July matched at 1000, albeit only for small beans.

There are some shrewdies out there. £0.04 laid at 970 for Oct/Dec. That's £38.76 tied up for a few months to get that four pence.

Not sure of the logic of holding an Election in July?

I'm guessing he wanted to take Reform by surprise.

There was some economic figures this morning which means the further planned TaX and NI cuts cant be done. So, i guess the thinking is to go early, absorb the damage and rebuild for the next election in 2029.

Cameron, May, Johnson, Truss and Sunak.

Call me crazy but I genuinely believe Sunak has been the least worst of that lot.

I know 4 July as Independence Day US & an A.
And I am curious do you have to vote in United Kingdom in the General Electorate, is it illegal if you do not if eligible. Just curious ....

If it was illegal not to vote, more than 50% of the population would be in prison. :)

I don't think I have seen a more pathetic figure than Sunaks speech in the rain...

Could be the Tories get a proper kicking

Having watched it. I can only say you can't rely on British weather.
Regarding what he said, it was standard Tory cobblers that we've endured for 14 years.
Blaming covid and ukraine. No mention of brexit, the BJ and Lettuce Liz fiasco's. No mention emasculating the "flagship" HS2.
No mention of water companies creaming off dividends, dumping s**t into our water and leaving inoperable companies and their customers to pick up the tab.
No mention of a Tory govt forced into taking rail operators back into public ownership because they can't regulate a wet paper bag.
And let's not trawl back over the nepotistic alllocation of contracts during covid.
Rishi, go ahead with your BS. If the electorate fall for this again, we're sunk.
