Hi All,

I need to get this sorted please. Since I have been more active on Bet Angel my columns and profiles have been a bit of a mess. I know how to put the one-click screen together and assign SV's to custom columns etc but its the 'profile' - the drop down on the right hand side which has always been somewhat random and that is the problem.

Last night I deleted all with the intention of putting them together from scratch. How can I be sure when I rebuild that I can recognise the profile which relates to a particular grid layout?

Ideally, if the grid layout has a certain name which I select when I save...can I make it so that the profile has the same name......or at least something I recognise?

Sorry for the basic question but I need to get my ducks in a row!

Thanks! :)

If you've seen some of my OC screen examples you'll notice I tend to also name the Custom Column Profile the same as the Grid Layout profile so it's easy to match them up

I'm not quite sure of the question you are asking but basically the custom column profile saves all the custom columns you create under each profile name, when a profile is selected when you open the 'Column Chooser' menu all the columns saved for that profile will be available for you to select

The grid layout does exactly what it says and saves how you grid appears, if you select a grid layout and don't have the custom column profile with the required columns then you'll just see 'Custom Column X' in the header box and blank cells below it

So if you've deleted your custom column profile it might be hard to recreate them for a specfic saved grid layout, you'll be able to see how many columns were used but the data displayed and there order won't be known unless you can remember

As always thanks Dallas.

I can create a grid layout and save it with a name which Ive now done plenty of times. But how do I have that profile (selected from the right hand drop down) having the same name as the grid layout?

Happy to start the grid from scratch rather than adding custom columns onto the side!

Either one of them can be renamed so they both match
If you then want a lock a specfic grid profile to a custom column profile you just need to resave your main settings (or layout profiles) - I can't remember which for sure off the top of my head
