not the highest i have seen, a friend of mine went over £1000 last week
I've wondered this. I'm often sitting there with 4-5 markets waiting to settleANGELS15 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 12:57 pmDoes anyone on here know why it takes Betfair on average about 8-10 minutes+ to settle UK dog markets? I traded a UK dog race yesterday and it took nearly 15 minutes for them to settle the market. In contrast the Australian dog markets are settled lighning fast often within 5 seconds of the winner crossing the line.
Maybe it's something to do with the rules/regulations. For example in horse racing when you need to wait for the horse to be weighed in?sniffer66 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 2:53 pmI've wondered this. I was wondering the same, perhaps there's an official confirmation signal they wait to receive from the tracks. I've noticed in ordinary betting with the bookies that the dog races tend to take a little longer to settle. The Aussies must have a simpler system.Fugazi wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 7:17 pmMaybe it's something to do with the rules/regulations.
