Hi

I have started recording my trades and just wanting some feedback. Is there a place in the forum where I can do this?

Make sure they are not too lengthy. Happy to have a look at them. I think theres a general trading strategies sub forum or something like that to my memory

Thanks for the reply.

I have scoured the forum to look for the sub forum but unsuccessful. My videos are between 7-15mins.

This is one of my latest videos. It has commentary of why I do what I do but will appreciate any feedback. https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cZ1YoCVNWWH

I am certainly a novice but if you look again at the 9.0 when it had 11.1K invested around 6k went on at 8.8 which had 11.1K as well, nothing or sweet fanny adams went on at 9.0 at that point. Said to me it was going to come in, and then it did. For me I would have backed at 9 split half my bet (because I am risk adverse) at 8.4 and put a closing bet in at 8. My stop loss would have been at 10.

The other thing for me would have been scalp 2nd fav, you could have got a few bets thru.

Plus I wouldn't eat while trading, I know the video is a fun thing (I like these type of vids) but I think you can miss stuff, coffee deffo for me but not food.

Just my thoughts and thanks for sharing

Appreciate your feedback. I would not have spotted the better option to back. I've looked at the recording a number of times to understand your explanation so thank you.

I've made a few videos and this is the only one of eaten on so it's not a regular practice but appreciate your input

The trade at 2.30

Why do you make it ?

Often it will break out as you were anticipating. However.

Looking at the other ladders I don't see any drastic changes so felt it was more likely to go back into its already traded range.

Easy to spot with hindsight ofc.

My reasons were the Betfair chart show the runner had been drifting, WOM on layside was considerably more overall (The 1st 5 ticks on the layside were 3 times as much as the 1st 5 ticks on the backside), and was approaching a crossover point.

Seems reasonable.

Something to keep in mind is there are a LOT of automations that have WOM as a key factor. So when it builds up like that it will likely trigger a lot of automations on the back side and force the price back down
