BA restart has fixed it.

Firstly, can I say it is an amazing product you now have and that the possibilities are endless (and mind boggling) , well done on it.
Just two small items which I wanted to highlight that I have noticed which might help in future.
a) The vast majority of races work perfectly well but, on occasion, I have watched races where one horse number suddenly whizzes off to the side and then returns to the main body of horses. This sometimes happens repeatedly within one race and may just be one of those things. Unless I have backed Pegasus, I don't think it reflects his position! If you want I will track the next time it happens and report back the example as I don't have one to hand right now.
b) Would it be possible to tweak the software to focus the map on the main body of horses at all times. I sometimes see a horse leave the parade ring long after the others and maybe have a 40 second trip to the starting post and I notice that TPD map leaves the main group and travels back to him when I am trying to keep an eye on a larger group down at start or make note of colours etc... Not a biggie but it should be a simple enough fix as there must be some setting which caused it to track the 'late' horse in this instance?
Thanks a mill and keep up the good work,
Dave
I'll drop a mail next time I see a) showing up very obviously.

Yes the whole race was screwed for everyone. TPD are aware and investigating.Morrid4 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:43 pmHi folks,Morrid4 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2024 10:14 amThanks for the reply,TPD-Zone wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2024 2:55 pm

I sent you an email with the details but the first at Royal Ascot was particularly noticeable for me with horses flying around like Pegasus!
Not sure if any else saw the same?
Thanks,
Dave
Second race was all good.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2024 2:48 pmYes the whole race was screwed for everyone. TPD are aware and investigating.
Messy so far.
That is correct, GMAX our usual tracking partner do not operate at Ascot. Unfortunately the incumbent data provider had problems in a couple of the early races, the rest of the card was fine and hopefully a trouble free day today.
The TPD interface has the ability to publish warning strings for a race. Some can definitely be cleared mid-race, but I'm not sure if that also applies to an Assignment error. TPD can confirm that.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2024 5:45 pmPlease can someone confirm the criteria being used to trigger a ''transponder assignment error' and the same for a 'data accuracy warning'? Also, is it a case of once the alert has been triggered it will remain triggered for the whole race? Or is it possible that an alert could be withdrawn if an error is detected but then resolved?
I don't know if these questions need to be directed at Bet Angel or TPD so thought I'd put then here for starters.
