These are basic Guardian automation files for use on In-Running Horse Racing markets.

The purpose of this automation file is to show how to set up a Dutching bot that places a dutch bet IF the runners selected hold a certain % of the book (or Implied percentage IP%). I’ve set the bot up in such a way (and detailed it below) that its quite straightforward to edit the actual Book% you require.

The bot will look to Dutch the front three in the betting just before post time using the book% staking method for £25 if they hold between 65%-80% of the overall book% and there more than six runners in a race with no odds on Fav.

How it Works

There are 3 rules which determine if the dutch bet triggers or not,
The first rule Stores the value of the Fav IP% added to 2nd favs IP% as a single value which I’ve named ‘IP12’, after that the second rule sets a signal (which I’ve named ‘true’) if the total value of ‘IP12’ is greater than 50

If its not greater than 50% then no signal is set and no further rules will trigger.

If there is a signal named ‘true’ set then the 3rd rule can trigger and will add the IP% of the 3rd fav to the existing ‘IP12’ value, and store a new value which I have named ‘Total’

You now have a stored value named ‘total’ for the first 3 in the betting of their combined IP%, The three Dutch rules (a back bet for each of the first 3 in the betting) can only trigger if the stored value amount named ‘total’ is between 65%-80%

To use the file just click on the following two link below ’Dutch Front 3 if their IP% is between 65%-80%’.Baf’ and this will download it to your computer, then with guardian open on the "Automation" tab click "Import a Rules File" as shown in the image, once imported it will now appear in the drop-down box just above, you can now apply them to any markets you have added into guardian.

Once you have it imported into your Guardian the stake size along with any other aspects of this file can be edited very easily by clicking on "Edit Rules File".

With any automation bot always run in practice mode first to ensure everything is working fine, and repeat this each time you make any changes.

The markets don't highlight when you apply rules using that link, as it is adding them to all in the rules number/column you have selected

Hello dallas

I have been filling with the greyhounds for my sins.

I am a bit stuck. I am looking to dutch fav 1 and fav 2.
I only want to put this in if the fav is between 2.0 and 3.0 and the 2nd fav between 2.0 and 5.0.

Can I ask how to do this. Would it just be using conditions?

Any help would be aoreciated appreciated.

Regards

Yes, you just need to use 4 x 'Fixed Odds Conditions' (two each to test the range of runner)

Hi Dallas, I want to lay the front 3 below a certain "total". In the conditions I have changed the total for the market to be below X but it is not placing any bets when below X. Please advise.

You only need to remove the top condition for the three Dutch bet rules, then edit the second condition to whatever book% you want there total to be less than on the remaining condition for each from <80% to whatever value you want to use

The other rules can all be left as they are

Hi, I tried that yesterday and tried again just now and it did not place a bet. The "total" in the log was below what I had set in my conditions to.

There must be something else in the file you have changed, the example triggers if greater 65 and less than 80
by removing only the greater than 65 condition it will allow it to trigger on more markets whenever it's less than 80 (or whatever you set it to)

Maybe delete the one you are using and download and import it again making sure to only remove that condition from the three rules

EDIT; Actually I just spotted a condition on the second rule that the first two favs must be greater than 50% before the 3rd fav is then added, which then produces the 'Total'
So either remove that condition on the second rule or remove the rule altogether along with the signal condition on 3rd rule and that will allow the 'Add IP' rule to trigger and set the 'Total' SV for the the 3 dutch bet rules

Did you follow the edit text I put in bold just after 2pm above?

I've quickly tested it on the 16:28 to make 100% sure there wasn't anything else needed and it worked perfectly triggering because the total was less than 80
