Nutcase neighbour invited me in to show me his CB collection. 30+ CB radios, some stacked from floor to celling. He collects them!

He claims one is just one of three left in the UK and will be worth a lot of money when it's cleaned up. He was even telling me their model names/numbers as if I was interested.

Living room a hell of a mess with boxes of CB radios piled all over the place. It's like living in a flipping warehouse. I'm half minded to invite him round to mine and let him see what a clean, tidy and spacious flat looks like. :)

A Question Time panellist said he's an Aberdonian. I started scratching my head thinking, where the fuck is Aberdonia.
I was born in Birkenhead. I am therefore a Birkonian. I don't come from Birkonia. Since you are in Norwich, what is the equivalent. Norwichian? I'm not even going to google it.
Think yourself lucky you are not from Lesbos for that would make you a Lesbian! And they took court action to defend that!

Given the plethora of place names the scope for a creative mind is vast. There's probably an entire comedy routine right there. Dave Gorman should get to work. Problem is you would upset a lot of people very quickly.

So what's the new name for someone from Transylvania, and have they adopted the rainbow flag.

If I could have any job I wanted at Asda, it would have to be the trolley man. He must feel even more important than the CEO when he comes around with a train of trolleys to a desperately lost and trolleyless crowd standing outside the main entrance. :D

At Morrisons I see the same guy that monitors the self serve tills collecting/organsiing trolleys in the car park. That may sound trivial, but believe me sometimes the self serve is bedlam. I am in awe of retail staff in general. There are exceptions. Curry's fo example. Surly, dismissive....like they are doing you a favour to sell you something. Always supposing you can get their attention while they chat/gossip.

18 cans of Stella for £13 at Asda. Hurry, it may only last while England are in the competition!

Apart from the morale, right or wrong question, do I have a legal obligation to tell my former employer that I left the company 3 months ago ?

I've just found my old Samsung phone. The battery has inflated to the point of breaking the phone.

I've just heard on the news that the Welsh Assembly (sorry Senedd!) is to consider making lying a criminal offence ... politicians legislating to give liars a criminal record

Edit: also now heard that Labour are wanting to remove the clause(s) ... now why am I particularly not surprised by that! :D

 used to be that politicians were "economical with the truth". These days they simply lie and appear to be saying "prove I'm lying".
This is a very sad state of affairs.
