Well done England, on the turnaround!

Was hoping for a bit of drama at the death :)

Slightly caught out by that quick ET goal though

Gotta stay positive now, there will be plenty of time to rip into Gareth later :D
Pithy as usual Kai. :-) But that was not a performance of a favourite of the remaining 8. That was teetering on the brink and they got away with it!
Look at the quality we have, look at the the 1st 90 minutes. No aggression, no endeavour. FFS just flipping play your heart out. Sorry, lost it!

Yes but perhaps that was the catalyst and spark they needed :) Better teams could bring out the best in them

Wouldn't it be special to win it when you least expect it, they have the players and matchwinners to grind it out. One of them plays for Madrid and the other one wears lederhosen etc etc :D

Two games away from the final and you'll be favs in both? I'd take those odds any day, have to fully get behind the team 😇

Glad to see England got something for their efforts in the second half. It was the old cliche of a game of 2 halves certainly. The Georgians scoring first in the later game got me thinking.

Boylesports paying out on a team scoring first could have backfired spectacularly backing the underdog with results so far, so I had a looksie. Odds I used were B365 which are different from Boyles, but not vastly different :

Group stages
Albania v Italy (17/2) +8.5
Poland v Netherlands (21/4) +5.25
Romania v Ukraine (15/4) +3.75
Belgium v Slovakia (11/2) +5.5
Portugal v Czech (5/1) +5
Croatia v Albania (13/2) +6.5
Scotland v Switzerland (7/2) +3.5
Slovakia v Ukraine (23/10) +2.3
Georgia v Czech (7/2) +3.5
Switzerland v Germany (5/1) +5
Scotland v Hungary (9/5) +1.8
Croatia v Italy (2/1) +2
Netherlands v Austria (15/4) +3.75
Georgia v Portugal (8/1) +8

Returns: 8.5+5.25+3.75+5.5+5+6.5+3.5+2.3+3.5+5+1.8+2+3.75+8=64.35
Stakes (total games): 36
Profit: 64.35-36 = 28.35

Last 16
Switzerland v Italy (9/4) +2.25
England v Slovakia (8/1) +8
Spain v Georgia (12/1) +12

Returns:2.25+8+12=22.25
Stakes: 3
Profit: 22.25-3 = 19.25

Total profit 28.35+19.25 = 47.6

Someone in Boylesports marketing department who signed off on the idea is probably going to be called into the HR office in the morning :o

Can't query your odds Dublin as I have no records but if true fractional then with, for example, an 8/1 (decimal 9.00) the profit is 8, not the return with stake. Therefore your 'Returns' figure is the profit. Interesting find. :D

What exactly did he do?

Grabbed his crotch? Well. It's his crotch. If he wants to look like a wazzock, that's his choice. A ban for that? We've lost our marbles!

Theres a strategy I use on 365 to abuse their 2ups. Have to be selective though. Im going to share the strategy on this forum when I eventually get gubbed. Im currently +8k , started a year ago.

Can't believe the space France have for 2/3rds of the pitch.

The furore over this brought back memories of Pascal Nouma scoring for Besiktas against Fenerbache then sticking his hand down the front of his shorts in celebration. If I remember correctly he was sacked.

Ronaldo did the same thing in a game in Spain. He got a fine but wasn’t banned.

Ronaldo has only scored one of 58 freekicks at major competitions. Can now add a missed penalty to that.
