Don't know if anyone is still experiencing this - I have been for weeks, but I figured out that if you clear your browser history/cookies/cache (for all time) then go back to Betfair, when it asks "Allow cookies" select "Essential Cookies only" .. now the Betfair website interface is quick and snappy.. I've tested this by putting it back to Accept all cookies, and it immediately goes back to slow, bloaty, long latency changing markets and placing bets.

Hopefully helps someone.
