Mike Cruickshank's "Momentum system"
Ye, for better or worse Derek's the type of guy that like the sound of his own keyboard
Euler might be the original forum seeder but Derek's been seeding quite a bit as well, albeit with continually seedy posts

Found this thread with this strat mentioned: Covers and Cunders.
https://other software.com/strategies/cover-and-cunders
How on earth are you meant to make money on this, backing most of the score lines for under 2.5 goals and then backing over 2.5 goals. I cant work it out?

From memory this is the one where you back >2.5 goals and then back four options from 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0 and 0-2 in correct score. As long as one of the scores you don't back doesn't come up then you win a little bit. But of course it will lose in the long run by the cost of the spread and commission.
It's this one according to a basic search of "covers and cunders", they've put some generic stuff like that on the websitejamesedwards wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2024 3:36 pmFrom memory this is the one where you back >2.5 goals and then back four options from 0-0, 1-0, 0-1, 1-1, 2-0 and 0-2 in correct score. It's from the old Trading Football website run by ads & bingo which is where I first met Kai millenia ago.
I have all of their original strategies plus all of the original videos.
ads still maintains the site but mostly does a 0-0/0-2/2-0 & unders strategy
bingo moved to Ireland and went into womens clothing or something like that.
This is the text from the document, Mike ripped it from the site and uploaded all of the stragies in a document.
Description: The classic 2 market strategy. CoverS : BACK OVER 2.5 goals +
BACK 3 or perhaps 4 of the following: 0-0/0-1/1-0/0-2/2-0/1-1
CunderS: BACK UNDER 2.5 goals + BACK 3 or perhaps 4 of the following 1-2/2-1/2-2/3-1/3-0/AUQ
Selection criteria: Odds on either Over on Under should not be less than 1.90
Staking: Decide what your prematch preference is regarding the result.
Weight your stakes accordingly
Example: BACK Unders @2.0 £100;
BACK CS high scores for a combined (dutched) total of £70 In this case you are favouring Under 2.5 as the most likely result

Would Burnley Blackburn kicking off at 1230 look good for this, back the correct scores at around 2, and then the o2.5 is around that, so drip in.....
When starting it's not a bad idea in general to wait for prices to reach evens before deciding whether you think something is more likely to happen or not, and going from there.
But the more of these illiquid markets you add to the mix the more chance you have of getting matched at stale prices.
So timing your entries can matter too, which is where ladder/software comes in handy, you don't want to see an 8 tick deficit 3 seconds after you get matched, when you can squeeze a few extra minutes if you time your entry a bit better.
