Sunak just gave a speech explaining why we'd be better off with him as PM. Never heard so much crap in the space of 5/10 minutes!
Never heard a Starmer speech then! :D

Birth rate France 1.83
Birth rate UK 1.56
Birth rate Spain 1.16
Birth rate South Korea 0.72

This does not augur well for the developed world but never hear many politicians bring the issue up.

It's not sustainable especially when you compare to birth rates throughout Africa and other developing countries.

How come the Brighton Kempton and Peacehaven Labour person was not allowed to stand for this election, he had a majority of 8,500 at the last general election ? :?
"His appointment came a day after the constituency’s former MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle was suspended by the Labour Party over historic behaviour allegations.

In a statement released on social media, the MP said allegations had been made against him about alleged conduct eight years ago.

Mr Russell-Moyle disputed the claims, calling them "vexatious and politically motivated".

Taking to social media, he said: "I've been working day and night since the election was called for success not only in Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven but across Sussex. Yesterday, out of the blue, I received an "administrative suspension letter."

"Someone (who remains anonymous to me) has made what I believe to be a vexatious and politically motivated complaint about my behaviour eight years ago. This is a false allegation that I dispute totally and I believe it was designed to disrupt this election."

The labour party seem to just parachute whomever they want into seats when its GE... Whole pile that no one has ever heard of were brought into Scotland as so & so's pal much to dismay of local associations..
That’s terrible, no law against that happening ?, something stinks here in a so called democracy ?

Developing countries have many children because their infant mortality was/is so high and their lack of access to contraception. That's an engrained cultural strategy that takes a long time to adjust. We were exactly the same until we were able to improve the nation's quality of life.
Everything flows from that. If you have 5 kids and they all survive, that's a huge burden until they are able to be independent (and ideally contribute to the nuclear family). But people in these countries don't expect all of their children to survive to independence.

Sunak's spent the day stacking shelves and working in a factory, in preparation for his new job. :D

I hope he's being paid minimum wage today, or better still, piece rates.

I believe he has a $8 million per year job waiting in California. He won’t go short. 🤠

Buffoon Boris has hit the election campaign for the Tories, and he'll be working hard, flat out ... over the next two days.

I reckon the lazy bastard will be off his arse for two weeks for the 2029 election, hoping to be PM again.

Buffoon Boris moaning that Starmer's going to use a sledgehammer majority to do what he wants ... after abusing his own majority to party through the lockdown and do what the fuck he wanted!

I can't believe this poll will play out. Will be interesting to review this after the election: -

I was listening to Neil Young’s song “Mr Soul”, and I realised that one change in one lyric, could be the next Prime Minister, based on Sir Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner.

Mr Dull

“Oh hello Mr. Dull I dropped by to pick up a reason
For the thought that I caught that my head is the event of the season
Why in crowds just a trace of my face could seem so pleasin'
I'll cop out to the change but a stranger is putting the tease on

I was down on a frown when the messenger brought me a letter
I was raised by the praise of a fan who said I upset her
Any girl in the world could have easily known me better
She said you're strange but don't change and I let her

In a while will the smile on my face turn to plaster
Stick around while the clown who is sick does the trick of disaster
For the race of my head and my face is moving much faster
Is it strange I should change I don't know why don't you ask her
etc, etc”

One thing I have read from that is its a certainty that will be an end to Scottish independence. SNP wont be happy if it plays out that way!!!

Utter bollocks on the SNP side I suspect, although a lot of seats are indeed very close.

Indie v's non-indie support still 50/50 (ish) and its reckoned about 25% of labour supporters are pro indie as well. It will be on the agenda for foreseeable future I think.

Mind a lot of folk are unhappy with the SNP because the haven't pushed indie enough... Will get a better feel for it at Scottish elections.

Buffoon Boris: Whatever our differences they are utterly trivial by comparison with the disaster we may face if the so-called opinion poles are right.

I think you'll find the disaster is the result of your differences Boris. :D
