For completeness regarding the warning strings for a race, both the 'Transponder Assignment Error' and 'Data Accuracy Warning' can be cleared mid-race. Although as regards a transponder error, it is unlikely in the extreme that such an error could be fixed in-running. It is conceivable that a data accuracy warning could be removed in-running as this type of error includes a faller, late withdrawals and such like. In all cases the errors are triggered manually, by the Course Operator.

Please can you share the full list of events that may cause the 'data accuracy warning' to be set. I'm currently excluding these races from my automation but it sounds like this may be unnecessary.

And just had a different error come up in the Brighton 17:15...

"TPD warning: clock". What does this one mean please?

To add more detail; we receive error codes from the source data supplier (Gmax in most instances). The TPD Developers have amended the API such that a warning field can contain one of three warning values and Bet Angel transacts that information as appropriate. I have reached out to our Developers and asked them to provide the precise details of how the Gmax error codes translate to that which the Bet Angel platform is picking up from the API. Will post in here when I have the answer and feed into the documentation.

It's working fine. For some reason sometimes you need to restart Bet Angel to get B@TBA to work. Don't know why. Perhaps Betfair aren't setting the markets up correctly.

Actually, you're right. It looks like US races stopped working for about 15 mins around 8pm.

All B@TBA races have been fine apart from race 4 at 20:08.

To provide the definitive detail regarding TPD transponder / data errors. Below is the flow of the messages, from the data provider, Gmax,to the Bet Angel platform.

With regard to what Bet Angel displays :-
When an "Assignment" warning occurs, the Pars Chart and the Real-time Map show a Red banner saying "Transponder Assignment Error"

When any other warning occurs, an Orange banner is displayed on those screens saying "TPD Warning: " + the warning string itself. I.e. currently 'Clock' or 'Field'.

For the Automation Conditions, Bet Angel does not distinguish between Clock & Field, they are both treated as 'Data Accuracy Warnings'. The Transponder Assignment Error can be tested individually in an Automation Condition.

Good Afternoon - to clarify the recent announcement regarding TPD working with Arena Racing Company (ARC), At The Races (ATR) and Racecourse Media Group (RMG).

In addition to TDD Zone subscriptions, our product set includes such things as Post Race Sectionals, Post-Race Coordinates, In-Play Odds, Performance Metrics, A Runner Status Feed and various other bespoke datasets, all primarily sold to a significant number of organisations / stakeholders within the horse racing industry.

The agreement, as announced, permits the use of data from RMG tracks in our non-live coordinate data and sectional times feeds. Unfortunately the agreement does not permit RMG data to be used in TPD Zone platforms (Bet Angel). That will be the subject of a separate agreement, which is currently being actively pursued by the Commercial Team.

Colonial Downs races listed on Betfair for the first time ever, starting from 16:45 today. This is a TPD track but not currently listed on the TPD schedule and Bet Angel states it's not supported.
