Wimbledon 2024
In women Tennis you often get a 'shock of the new' player that breaks through. Nobody knows much about them tactically, so it's difficult to play against them. Often have good runs, and it seems like Sun is one of those players.
Solid player. Lefty. Backhand cross is money. Great at the net. Student of the game. Composed. Heavy ball. Aggressive in the Sabalenka manner. 52 winners 44 unforced. I am sure in time the opponents coaches will pounce on her weaknesses but for now she marches on.

Anyone noticed the Fritz v Zverev match... BA has the server the wrong way round!!
Its right on BF, is this just the API? Anyone know a workaround?
What does the little green arrow mean next to the players name in Tennis trader, does selecting this manually select the server??
TIA
(Actually I think it's just stuck on Zverev. Hope its OK for Rune v Djok.)

All the data displayed in TT comes from Betfair's API when you have the 'Update Live Score feed' box tickedBrovashift wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 3:29 pmAnyone noticed the Fritz v Zverev match... BA has the server the wrong way round!!

But if they have the server the wrong way around you can tick the 'Reverse Server in Feed' box next to it ,

Think this is well stuck as its stopped at 3-3 first set.
Is it the same for everyone else ye??
It was OK earlier for Fils v De Minaur, and Rybakina games.

I just synced the WatchList with Guardian and its working now. Server was still wrong but "Reverse Server in Feed" resolved that...Dallas wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 4:24 pmIts showing the same score for me so its definitely something to do with the feedBrovashift wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2024 4:19 pmOh ye, I never knew that... Cheers Dallas

Kyrgios suddenly popped up as a courtside pundit. Making sense, bantering with McEnroe. If only he'd paid more attention to exploiting his playing talent.
Thnk the BBC are taking a big risk with him with a mike in his hand though. 50-50 genius/catastrophic decision by the Beeb. If he gets through his stint without saying something childishly explosive then he will have grown up a bit. He's 29. Being a pratt is running out of road.

Bimey Djok didn't hang about there did he? A cynic might say he is so good that he manages matches to his own preference.
Toy with an opponent for some reason. Which he appears to me he has done a lot.
But his knee is a weak point that he doesn't want to over-stress. So 3-0.

Is it called 'confirmation bias' when you (I) look at a match and think;
"If Jannik trades down to his set 1 win odds @1.11 I will place a lay to see if Medvedev can pull it back in the 2nd... But wait, Jannik has won the first 2 sets in every match this tournament, and looking at the H2H he's never beaten Jannik at a Grand Slam, or any surface in the last 6 months. Ah, Jannik will probably win the first 2 sets here so I wont bother, might as well grab some lunch..."
Only to return and see Jannik is now trading @4.0, from @1.13. This is not the first time I've not pulled the trigger because I believe the unlikely was unlikely to happen
Is there some clever way to overcome this or is it just a case of giving myself a slap in the face and getting in when I said I would, and accepting the loss, if it comes?
Im on Alcaraz now and I bet you nothing happens in this and he wins 3-0
