Only 83,000 prisoners locked up in the UK. If I was PM or justice secretary, I'd make sure at least 250,000 are locked up at any one time, absolute minimum. :)

Without a conviction, just randomly lock people up ? 🤔

In 2019 England and Wales sent more people to prison than any other country in Western Europe per head of population.

It seems there are allot of naughty people in the UK, which is rather worrying!!!

Mr Timpson the new advisor to Sir Kier on prisons says more than half of the 83,000 shouldn’t be there for non violent crimes. According to data there are 187 in prison for lieing or trying to deceive the official receiver during bankruptcies. I agree they shouldn’t be locked up but that might set a dangerous precedent. 🤔

People should be put in front of a firing squad, even for non-violent crimes. Swindling somebody out of the pension/life savings may not be violent but it still ruins somebody's life.

I read the other day that one that would qualify for early release is one of the Rotherham girl groomers! Not violent? Why not ask the girls if they agree if he (and his contemporaries) were not violent. There are certain crimes that should never qualify for parole.

Ever since I was little, Ariel have been advertising how good their washing powder is. Now they say, throughout those decades, it's been leaving a "boomarang" smell that makes your clothes smell as if it's unwashed. Only the latest version will get rid of the boomarang smell!

Toothpaste is toothpaste, washing powder is washing powder.....everything else is marketing.

SoccerStats is flipping useless. When a new season starts, on some leagues, you lose all access and stats to previous seasons, and they got the cheek to ask me to switch off my ad-blocker!

I just got an email from Sky saying, Great news! You've rolled back 1GB of data from your Sky Piggybank!

I know that FFS, because I've just rolled back 1GB of data from my Sky Piggybank, and I've paid for that data, it's not free!

in a somewhat similar vein. my wife/kids get fed up of my *humour* everytime we order a takeaway from our local (who use foodhub). After placing the order, it makes a huge pronouncement with fireworks and streamers that your order has been accepted. I jump around the room punching my fist in the air and tell them of this amazing success, and how i can't actually believe we're soo lucky... let's just say they never tire of being tired of my antic!!
