If Trump decided to nuke the UK, I reckon our response would be, our special relationship with the US is far too important to let being nuked get in the way.
Don't think the USA would need to nuke the UK. They have over 10,000 personnel stationed here with some serious naughy equipment. Probably wouldn't take them long to overthrow the country if they so decided too etc.
reminds me a bit of the Man in the High Castle

JD Vance will be Trump's running mate.
Probably the worst pick he could’ve picked, apparently Don Jr fought for Vance so that says everything you need to know.
What willing candidates did he have to choose from? His last VP was on the verge of being hung.
Unfortunately he had the whole of the GOP at his feet willing to serve as his VP. Youngkin would’ve been perfect but I don’t think Putin would’ve been happy with that pick, I bet he’s ecstatic with Vance.

The deputy prime minister has dismissed comments by Donald Trump's running mate for US vice president that UK under Labour might be the first "truly Islamist" country with nuclear weapons.

We've just seen what idiotic political rhetoric can provoke. It's unbelievable that Vance is picking on the UK just because it has a Labour govt.
The UK is an "Islamist" nation with nukes? That is so far off the scale of credibility. What a king canute!

Two of those posts were replied to, and even the moderators didn't delete the one about Truss. :P

If you go through this then you will understand how very little Americans know about the UK and Europe. So they pay allot of attention to what people they know tell them, even if that information is incorrect etc.

Biden has Covid. Surely he has to stand down now?

He also announced earlier that if a doctor tells him he has a disease and should stand down, then he will. A different tune from last week when only god could remove him. Basically, he is now done.

As we have seen over the last few weeks he's stubborn as anything. If calling Zelenskyy 'Putin' didn't get him to quit then Covid certainly won't.

I laid him at 9.6 but he's only moved as far as 11. Republicans are gonna argue their man stands up to a bullet, the other guy gets knocked out with a cold!

And as horrible as it sounds, on US forums their saying would anyone know the difference if Biden got shot through the brain, as in same speeches and not knowing where he is or what he said 30 seconds ago.

What a nightmare for the US electorate!!!!!

Senior Democrats tell Joe to go as they worried they will also lose the House of Representatives.

They said that 2 weeks ago and he's still there.
