Hi,

I've used to use the BetAngel Excel template to place automated trades and I recently started up again. I have PowerQueries that run between each eace and collect information on Greyhounds, they populate background tables and that forms the basis on what bet I place.

This used to work fine everytime, but today when the VBA script triggers the refresh, I get a message saying the "Download did not complete" and error code Unexpected error: Container unexpectedly exited. Exit code: 0xC0000279.

If I open the excel spreadsheet and refresh manually, it's fine, it's only when I connect it to BetAngel I see the issue. Once this error occurs I can no longer refresh manually either. I have to close the workbook down and start again.

Has anyone seen this before or have any ideas? All updates are installed for Excel, BetAngel and Windows

Cheers,
Chris

It's as soon as I click the "Connect" button, the PowerQueries break, if this helps

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,

I've encountered a similar issue before. Try running both Excel and BetAngel as an administrator to resolve any permission conflicts. Ensure no other Excel processes are running in the background, and consider increasing the timeout settings for your PowerQueries. Simplifying the query might help if it’s too complex. Adding logging to your VBA script can provide more insight into where it fails. If the issue persists, reaching out to BetAngel support or checking their forums might be helpful.
