I thought the cop did the right thing, I was in the exact same position helping the police trying to capture a steer that got loose from a trucking yard, it was trotting around like the one in the video, then out of nowhere no warning no action by me (or anyone else for that matter) it charge me, it's eyes were locked on me, scariest thing of my life, I got out the way and it forced it's way thru the vehicles and had to be shot and killed. That was the last resort we had tried for an hour to capture it, we had Vets we had farmers with their dogs but to no avail. Was early in the morning school kids were starting to walk to school, it had to be shot because if it wasn't and killed a child everyone would have blame the police for not shooting it earlier. I can also say no one took any joy from the outcome, nor would the cop in the video, he was always going to be damned if he did and damned if he didn't, he had to make a call

I was brought up in a rural area and make no mistake livestock have killed before, twice near where I live, only recently (earlier this year) two people were killed by a ram, one made the mistake of going near it in tupping season and the other died when they went to rescue the first person, it even attacked the first responders, they aim for the center of your chest and will hit with fatal force, not once they keep going till they are sure you are no threat.

What the heck is this bloody thread?

'The Situation Room'

You mean another thread....where Derek tells us exactly what he thinks about everything ranging from politics to pussy :geek:
Looks like the score's 4-2 to me. :P

I'll PM a moderator and ask to have the thread moved to the chill out area, which I mistook for general discussion.

English Defence League now adding to the trauma of the relatives of the Stockport victims, surrounding a Mosque and rioting. Can you get anymore selfish?

Yes, just looked at the map. They're both in the Merseyside area.

No they are not. Southport is as west as you can get, Stockport is nestled at the south east of Manchester.
May seem like Merseyside to you but someone from Stockport would be wide-eyed with disbelief with being called a merseysider.

But anyhow I checked because I thought some other act of rank stupidity had occured. Both the idiot 17 year old and the Southport rioters. Must be the heat!

There seems to be an agenda being pushed by somebody in the UK. It seems the 17 year old was born in Cardiff of Rwanda parentage. But far right groups have jumped on this and trying to create division. Yes, they are the EDL. What a shit show.

I see, so Merseyside is a much smaller area than I thought.

I don;t think so. Back then it was organised, politically motivated disuption. Southend seems to be social media organised summer anarchy.
