Busy 24 hours if you include the 12 gallops meetings today here in Australia.

Commentator just caused chaos there by saying the favourite, Luggers Hall, had fallen (while it was a different horse.) Money was laid up as far as 1000!

@hgodden yep, I just got caught out by that, 2nd week in a row I've lost about 2 weeks profits, I'm down about a month in just over a week. :(

I was surprised how many people took the commentators call. I wasn't trading it in-running but could see the favourite had not fallen.

hehe, the thing is, I don't normally trade in play, especially with large amounts.

I heard the commentator call it and I layed with a relatively large amount around 10's, he then said sorry, he'd called it wrong ... I felt sooo much better. :|

I won't be doing that again in a hurry. You live and learn.

It didn't win though, did it?

No, it didn't win, but if I never traded out I was facing losing 3 times more than I did.

It was in 2nd place about 4 fences out when I got out, would you have left it?

Yeah, you are right. It would have inevitably romped home if you would have let it stand. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I was watching the race and it looked like the horse was going pretty well to me so I guess you had no choice. I don't know the name of the commentator but the useless idiot also missed it when one horse completely dived to the right and didnt jump the fence, effectively ending his race, despite the loud cries from the crowd when it happened

I've been trading horses today, more so than usual

The flashing spoofers that people refer too are around today too. They don't just do it on horses at the top of the market, there's also been some very peculiar amounts appearing on rank outsiders, but disappearing within a second
