is indeed scary stuff. on reading that article, it does sound like a bit of a gathering of the clans in the star wars bar (convicted paedophile leader, convicted murderer and those willing to follow). we have much to think about in collectively addressing the many differing root causes here (the obvious one touted by the far right of asylum bashing is the tip of the iceberg). i won't be surprised to see disaffected sub groups emerging with other agendas, which if presented in a rational way, should obviously be listened to.

It's no surprise the vast majority of riots have been in the north, I live in the north and we've been shat on by the Tory's and now Labour. People were told vote for change and 2 weeks in they voted to keep the 2 child benefit and then removed the winter fuel allowance for pensioners (they spent 14 years slagging the Tory's off on poverty and created more) whilst still spending 8 million a day on migrants in hotels who are unvetted and left to wander the streets and people have had enough. People have had genuine concerns but Starmer then labels them all as far right thugs which was a red rag to a bull.

Was there an undercurrent of hooligans, criminals involved of course there was but by and large the feeling is people in the north are seeing through the political lies we are sold the stabbings were just the catalyst and was unfortunately it was this that lit the tinder box that has been simmering for years.

Mass immigration has been forced on the north and by and large Hindus, Sikhs, Blacks have integrated well however Muslims have created ghettos forcing British people out of certain areas, failed to integrate trying to force Islamists ways in areas as well as police cover ups with grooming gangs etc Two tier policing is evident including the other week in Leeds when immigrants rioted and the police stood by and watched, this gave the green light that rioting was OK. I've seen videos of Muslims now hunting white British people and a police officer telling Muslims to put weapons back in a mosque (wtf by the way) but not seen any of this on the mainstream news 2 tier reporting as well as policing. The reason the Government don't like social media is everyone sees the full picture and their narrative cannot be controlled like when they roll an MP out to do the rounds every morning on Sky, BBC etc to tell us bollocks.

There's a big demo in Newcastle next Saturday, the north-east will put out another show of strength, I'll be there with my fellow far-right Brits that Starmer has labeled us as. Fuck Starmer and Fuck the Government.

The Government has lost control of our Borders and the streets, their the thugs but it's OK because they wear suits.

All that said what struck me the most was seeing Union Jacks and the Irish tricolours side by side in Belfast. Unionists and Loyalists side by side demonstrating against immigration. Good luck to Starmer sorting that one out if Loyalists and Unionists stand side by side and put a proper show of strength out against illegal immigration. I hope they do.

When entirely innocent people get attacked, homes and businesses vandalised or set on fire, any symphony for the cause, however valid or genuine, goes straight out of the window.

How anyone can conflate what's going on with immigration or government policy is beyond me. If they have genuine concerns, why did it take a mass stabbing to trigger it? Why didn't they organise protests/riots the week before the tragedy?

The fact that it's taken an entirely unrelated event to trigger the rage can be likened to a man coming home from work in a bad mood, then blowing his top when his wife spills the tea!

I don't personally think there is a relation between the stabbings and riots. Some were just looking for an excuse which was further fuelled by TR, EDL and BNP.

However, there are problems in certain areas, which is clear to see.

Forgetting about the riots, I think the new government needs to come out with a very clear and coherent policy on Legal/illegal migration and explain it. There is no point in them just saying people are being racist as your causing problems further down the line.

I suspect this is going to continue in one form or another right up until the next GE and hopefully there are no by elections inbetween as they could become very toxic in certain places.

I lived in Brum for over 10 years and, yes there were/are heavily asian "ghettos". But I watched them convert those areas from worthless slum housing into vibrant, well maintained communities. Although I did find the habit of double parking on a bus route a bit baffling and annoying.

On a much more serious note, looks like there is an on-line list of hotels and other places suspected of housing migrants. Obviously I am not going to post it. But that is rather worrying. Some might be but some might not be. But that's not the point. Its on the dailymail website.

Surprised they havent been told to take it down or done so by their own choice etc.
