Who will replace Gareth Southgate?

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

Carsley announced England "interim coach" for the next two games. Price is into 1.4 on Betfair to last the required three games to get settled.

Oh bugger!!! How can they potentially dump him in the midde of a competition. The FA astound me sometimes. And yes I have a stake in Carsley so am totally biased.
Then again the players may look at Carsley and Potter and think lets give it the full bananas to keep Carsley in post. I'm in a huff now.
I'm well ahead, should I cut and run?

I'm sure we all agree this is a truly inspired appointment by the FA. They really pulled the rabbit out of the hat on this one.

They've already undermined him by saying he's there while they look for a proper manager. Why not give him the Nation's league while they run around looking to spend millions on someone noone wants. Who are they gonna get between now and Oct 10th that could come in and do a decent job? IMO they would need to have already decided who will take over after the next two games. Keeping that under wraps would be a pretty impressive media lockdown.
The delay does suggest Carsley saying "So you want me to give up my successful role as under-21 manager, take two games and then kick me out - F**k off!).
The plot thickens.

Looking through the market front-runners the most disappointing appointment in my eyes would be Lee Carsley.

I imagine he ticks many boxes for the FA. Well worth a dabble at 6.0.
Good call early on 👍
