Hi All
Just wanted your collective opinions on something I’ve been thinking about recently. So we all know that there’s a delay in live feeds and betfairs stream which is widely considered the fastest is still around 8 seconds behind every time I’ve gone racing and tested it. So I was thinking that if I went to the course and broadcasted the live action via social media or via a WhatsApp FaceTime type call to anyone back home wouldn’t this be the fastest possible way to bridge the gap between traders at home and people at the track? Firstly do you think this would work and secondly if it did would this be of use to in play traders? Thoughts guys?

This was all the rage 10+ years ago but the opportunity has long since been superseded.gstar77 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2024 1:13 pmHi All

The BFL video feeds for UK&Ire racing are today only about 1.5 secs behind for ATR tracks and about 0.5 secs behind for RTV tracks. There are also many people using drones for better angles with 0.5 secs latency. Plus there is also GPS via TPD which is about 0.5 secs latency.
