Kamala roars back into favouritism, Trump is really stinking this one up. I can almost hear the face palming from his advisors here in Aus lol

I don't think he stank it up, he is going to say he won because they only fact checked what he said and none of her lies, so he will say further proof of a conspiracy against him.

She won the debate without doubt but was not convincing, saying you were talking to leaders about a peaceful resolution only for war to break out 3 days later is not something I would admit to. Also she didn't answer when asked if Americans are better off now than 3 1/2 years ago, so that's a no then?

Harris has to convince the fence sitters she is the best choice, she may have got some but not enough, the longer they are on the fence more chance they will go with Trump because they are in a world of pain right now, can they survive another 4yrs is the question

Political leanings aside, for the odds to literally reverse over the course of 90 minutes, I don't know that anyone could mount a convincing argument that this wasn't a train wreck for Trump. And what's worse for the GOP, his blunders came in the form of convenient sound bites - "I have a concept of a plan" (amongst other things) is going to be replayed ad nauseum during the campaign.

Trump also demonstrated how easily he can be baited. For someone who is supposedly as inept as Harris, according to many, to so easily get under his skin, how can anyone have any confidence that Putin, Xi et al won't seek to exploit this.

The eating pets stuff, was a bit unhinged. Harris seems to know this and can trigger Trump quite easily.

That was the first US debate I have ever seen, my issue is the US political scene is a mess. The whole outcome hinges on whether or not you like Trump. Also depends on how much of an impact people like Taylor Swift and Influencers can have, 283m followers could decide the outcome because she hates Trump, nothing about issues everyday people face.

I am not a fan of Trump but this election is just going to decide who is the best of a bad bunch.

I was watching the odds and I was surprised that Harris was not favourite before the debate, I was tempted to back her but I think the odds are about right now, jmo of course.

Putin will love this the West is broke divided and leaderless, China will love it because they know they can shut down almost all major Cities in the West by Cyber Attack.

I think this is why the Doomsday clock is at 30s to midnight

She's an attorney. He's a knob. She has learned, he is trotting out his usual nonsense and provocative lies.
The fact the Dems are now clamouring for another debate says it all.

Just as a grenade on this issue. Who would prefer as a supporter? Musk or Swift?

I must admit, the cat and dog story really through me - I hadn't heard it before. What a time to tell it, at a presidential election. It's being repeated on the news as I type.
