So by clicking on the price next to the horse you put your bets on you are effectively laying that horse at the price shown, in order to spread your profits to all the horses, is that correct?

Yes, that is spot on. I am sorry that I couldn't solve your issue. If you have the check mark in the box and click the appropriate column it should green up for you.

I have the same problem, i see you do it in betangel pro, i can't get it to wotk in batangel basic.

When clicking the odds, it says "greening up" at the buttom of the Windows frame; but the green up number starts to fluctuate shortly after, and the odds under the horse remains. When you simultaniously check at betfair.com, the green up is not registered.

I really want this to work, before starting with Betangel Pro.

Are you sure this is suppose to work in Betangel Basic ?

I suggest dropping a line to support just in case I have missed something. I am pretty sure it work this way but if your hard earned is involved then asking support is your best way forward.

Thanks, i'll try that, didn't know there was support on Betangel Basic. But is seems like it is not a part of BetAngel Basic, totally fair as it shows how it works; but should be clearer to avoid confusing about how the system works.

Hi all I've just made a successful trade and greened up. However once I done that I wanted to carry on trading in the same race but it suddenly occurred to me I don't know how to go about doing that.

Do I back/lay another horse and then green up that horse as before?

Can I back/lay more than one horse at the same time before greening them? How do you keep track of all this when we are doing all this in a matter of seconds!

How exactly did you "green up" in Basic, if i may ask ?

I have tried many times, without getting it right.

After i click "green up" i have clicked the column as in the screen shoot above, it says "greening up" and make a beep, but nothing happens at betfair.com, and the grreen up numbers still fluctuate, and the number below the horse played is still there too, in betangel ??

I would really love to get this to work, and try to trade some, before signing up to pro.

I use the same method as you described. I am aware of the green up numbers fluctuating and so we'll really need some guidance as when best to green up as we may be greening at the wrong time. Can anyone here shed some light on this please?

As for betfair, it takes a while for the bet to settle and show at your betfair history under "settled bets" typically anywhere from 8-15 minutes after the race is finished I find.

You will see your back and lay bets and also your green up "lay bet", so if using £2 stakes which is recommended for us beginners you should see on your profit and loss column something like this (from a £2 stake with a 4 pence profit)

2.00
(2.00)
0.04 -> your profit.

I finally found out. It is because my betfair account is in danish currency (kroner - DKK); and betangel was preset to british pounds: since the £ amount was the same as the DKK amount betfair.com both for balance and market values; i didn't think any more of it.

But it apparently isn't possible to "green up" unless the currency is the same in betangel and at betfair.com; so now it works.
