Putin asking to change Russian doctrine on the use of Nuclear Weapons.

Recent history has shown the Russian military are crap. Their nukes will also be crap. Sure if Putin goes nuclear it's all over for everyone.
It is a terrfiying notion that someone like Putin could build a system around himself to allow him total control.
But I still see him shifting. He reaches out to Iran, China, India. That suggests to me he isn't as mad as we think.

Well, reacting like that is basically giving Putin exactly what he wants. Same old sabre-rattling and we all know that old sabre is rusty af.

I wouldn't worry about his empire lasting for much longer, no matter how they try and spin things.

I wonder if China supported by India and Iran would 'allow' him to do that. If they see it as total annihilation they may take a view that he needs to be terminated before he presses the button. After all an annihilated China is not good for them!

I doubt north korean special forces will defect as it would be certain death, either on the battelfield or back in their home country. They are taught from the age 8, the west is the enemy, better to die than be captured or humilate your home country etc.

If its true that 1,500 North Korean special forces are on their way to Ukraine, dont think those chosen ones will defect for a bar of chocolate.

But more likely, they are not special forces but people dragged out of prisons as cannon fodder because North Korea has sent 50 tonnes of ammunition to Russia.

Basically, its a game.

Ukraine is short on manpower and outnumbered 8 to 1. Believe it not, Ukraines best option is to attack Russian power stations, cause misery to the Russian economy and people. Harsh and mega risks but there only way to some sort of victory.

The Harris and Trump came agree Ukraine will need to be cut down the middle for a negotiated peace. You can’t win a war against a Nuclear power using conventional weapons.

Ukraine will basically be forced to surrender whoever wins the US election. Harsh but true.
