Hi Traders,
I have been spending my days on this but can't get my head around. I have added football markets in Guardian 2 days ago so that the trading activity for 2 days is displayed in the charts. But despite changing different settings and configuration, I could not see the trading activity for 2 days as mentioned in the Bet Angel topics. Please suggest how can I modify the settings so that the chart displays activity for last 2 day.
P.S. I am trying to get the activity in this chart only not the betfair long term replica.

I am not using any Automation for those markets. Is it mandatory to use Automation on the markets so as to get the historical prices on the charts? Like can I just create an automation that logs Back price and Lay price from 2 days before event start time, and I could see the price movement?
The short answer is yes.onkargm wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 3:07 amI am not using any Automation for those markets. (You can't just open Betangel an hour before and ask for the prices for the last 48 hours)
I mean I have those markets loaded in Guardian 48 hours ago, I did not know I have to apply any automation rule as well.Anbell wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 8:36 amThe short answer is yes.onkargm wrote: ↑Mon Sep 30, 2024 3:07 amI am not using any Automation for those markets. The maximum display width in the chart settings is 999 datapoints so the storage is based around that.
So it stores half second datapoints to cover the 0.5, 1s & 2 sec display. then stores five second datapoints to cover bigger intervals and finally 30 seconds datapoints to cover 30sec intervals up to 10 min intervals.
So it needs 4000 datapoints for the 0.5s (as there are four 0.5 sec datapoints in a 2sec one).
Same qty of 5s datapoints to merge together for 1000 20 second intervals.
Then it allows enough 30 second datapoints to handle two days worth at five & ten minutes intervals
Those rules are the same regardless of whether paging Full,Partial or None, however with None if it starts running out of memory then the datapoints will be trimmed back
As Anbell alluded to earlier the PC will need to remain on and connected to Betfair at all times so if not running BA from a VPS make sure you have sleep/hibernation mode disabled
