How do Burger King get away with charging £2.69 for a regular coke?

More than twice the price of McDonald's and about the price of beer at Wetherspoons!

People keep buying at that price? Seems unlikely they are so inefficient that they need to charge that. But I guess it depends on the local competition too. There's a business opportunity. Get a licence to set up a street stall flogging coke that you've bought wholesale. Of course BK would stop you. That's capitalism.

Most commonly drink prices will simply be set to optimise gross profit. But drinks on their own at BK are so preventatively priced that I wonder if they are designed to put people off coming in just for drinks?

Prices at my local BK:
Whopper £6.39
Medium Fries £2.49
Medium Coke £2.69
Whopper meal £8.69

I wouldn't dream of paying £6.39 for a whopper. £3 on a Wednesday via the app, and sometimes you get the odd offer of £1.99.

I get a Big Mac & fries for £2.99 for completing the McDonald's survey, but with Burger King, you only get a free whopper if you purchase regular fries and a drink, which amounts to £5.18. You can get a large whopper meal on the app for £5.99!

Maybe get a news source that actually reflects what he says, i.e. not Daily Express / Mail?

He is actually pointing out ways to make Europe stronger.

There are some people who think learning to trade is a waste of time, that is, people who never succeed. :)

Why do banks think every flipping payment you make is a scam?

Who chooses 7:30am on a Monday morning to set off fireworks for 20 minutes? I did google the topic and apparently drug dealers use them as a 'shop's open' signal. But Monday at 7:30am?
