Tit for tat violence. It can never end unless one side has the courage to stop.
But are we at all surprised, given Israel's current mentality.
I did have a wild thought that Israel may have accepted the role of a local proxy to attack all Islamic fundamentalist units on behalf of the US et al.
But its such a provocative approach I can't see the US et al wanting these actins at all.
It's a flipping good job that some powerful Arab states don't like Hamas etc.

I find it pretty disgusting that people on this thread are supporting Israel.

While I fully appreciate the anger from October 7th and the right for Israel to defend itself, destroying children and innocents is utterly disgusting. Two wrongs doesn’t make it right. If you go down that belief and right then your in the camp of Hitler and Ratko Mladić, remember those two ?

While I served the UK, we never targeted children.

Israel is now creating future terrorists who will fight them at home and abroad. That means people potentially being killed on UK shores and elsewhere in Europe and the world. But I guess that’s a price you’re all willing to take. Hopefully, it doesn’t happen.

Basically, you’re all supporting a terrorist, in a different form. Only difference, you like one terrorist over another.

Have to admit, thought the UK population was better than that.

Call it a rant if you wish but read what I said, look at history, then and only then, feel free to slag me off.

In my book, kill children and try to justify it, your a complete ‘C’.
I find it disgusting that the antisemitic conspiracy theorists are all out in force.

I've heard it all. From Israel themselves are a terrorist state. They themselves have committed many violent acts. Blaming them for stuff like attacking the USS Liberty, bombing the King David hotel, the Lavon Affair, putting bombs in pagers as well as kids toys, having NGOs that brings in refugees and asylum seekers into the west to genocide white people, controlling both sides of the US government via AIPAC.

I have heard it all. Nobody wants to admit that they have a right to defend themselves from terrorists as we all do.

Of course they have the right to defend themselves FROM TERRORISTS. Trouble is they are murdering civilians and just shrug their shoulders,

Russia says it is concerned about the escalation in hostilities in the Middle East and urges "all parties involved to exercise restraint".

Russia is friends with Israel, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

I agree, silly thing to say but Russia has to say that.

Also, kinda strange, Turkey a NATO country just took delivery of 800 S-400 missiles from Russia.

Lives don’t matter in the world. It’s all about doing deals for financial gain, always has been, unfortunately.

My fighting days are over now. Most happier now watching the wildlife on my door step. Yes, animals can be cruel too but they trying to survive by gaining food and not for financial gains.

Fair point about nature being cruel. We seem to have taken that desire for survival to a different level. A lot of what powerful humans do is pure greed for money or mostly power with a total lack of respect for anybody else.
It appears their approach is be a bigger s**t than me. Nature is cruel for survival. We are smarter than that, but you wouldn't know it.

Naim Kassem has been named as the new Hezbollocks leader and will now be hiding in a cupboard. Must be the most enviable job in the world.

So either a sitting duck or a potential mediater. Let's hope the latter. Doesn't look good though.
Gerry Adams was a Pariah for ages and then emerged as pivotal in creating some sort of environment that didn't involve violence.
We can only hope common sense overtakes stupidity.
I would like to get Hamas, Hezbollah, Fatah and Israel in a room and ask "so how are you guys going to sort this shit out?".
How many are they prepared to sacrifice on flimsy idealogical twaddle.
