Hi,

Can anyone tell me why Bet Angel might be freezing when I place an order on the ladder during pre off markets??

I had v1.62 beta3 installed so tried reverting back to v1.62 but its started doing it again just now. Bit of a nightmare when you're anxiously anticipating whether you're going to be in the red or green for what feels like an eternity lol, probably a good 5-10 seconds.

My avg ping rate to Betfair is 33ms, and upload/download speeds are 300+mbps, I have the refresh set to 500ms, Guardian open set to 100ms, and 3 advanced charts set to 2 second refresh. This was never a problem up until a few weeks ago, possibly around the time I upgraded to beta3, although that could just be a coincidence.

I saved the log file of the race where it just happened but it doesnt seem to indicate any freezing.

Any ideas anyone?

TIA

It could be a number thing,

Too many markets updating
Too many selections updating
Too much automation updating (especially if not optimized)
Too many bets ( Guardian > matched bets (try ticking (average bets)) That might improve things.
Too much being logged

Probably combination of the above.

Cheers Dabbla,

I actually haven't got any automation running, not bots anyway. Only book percentage column in Guardian but I've had that setup for a few years. It might have started when I added historical VWAP to my advanced charts, but have since removed that so would've expected it to sort things if it was that.

Cost me -£160 yesterday after I tried to close a trade twice thinking it hadn't worked, then both orders were submitted and I saw -£427 for a £33 fixed lay, and just closed out as quickly as I could. To make it worse it turned out I couldn't fluked a £33 profit. :x

This is a red month... Start again on the 1st with a clean slate
