Sure. Let it lie there. How I wish a weapon was always picked up by a good guy.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:58 pmYes, we have. We've crossed swords on this before and I know your opinion and you know mine.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:26 pmFinally got my Canadian restricted gun licence this morning.
Off to pick this up tomorrow. Don’t panic, it’s the civilian version, so only semi-auto and not full auto.
As used by the IDF.
Well happy.

Just use it wisely, chief.
A racoon is not necessarily a member of Hamas or Hezbollah.
Restricted firearms in Canada can only be used at an approved ranges plus you need secure storage to get them to and from the ranges. You cant use this for hunting, target shooting or plinking on your own land regardless of 1 acre or 1,000 acres.
And no, you can’t have one in the UK. These type of centrefire semi-autos were banned in 1987 due to some numpty, which some will remember.

A weapon can be anything, doesn’t have to be a firearm, knife, brick, baseball bat, car, lorry, fists. All still legal in all countries. But I get your point.greenmark wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 5:09 pmSure. Let it lie there. How I wish a weapon was always picked up by a good guy.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 4:58 pmYes, we have. If you want a depiction of a good guy picking up a weapon then lookup Christian Craighead. Don’t think many would have done what he did, armed or not.

Ta. Can't beat a bit wildlife and in the case of racoons I believe wild is very apt. Scariest thing round here are dogs owned by morons (from all strata of society it seems) that can't be arsed to train or socialise their dogs.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 8:07 pmOne for greenmark. Oh sorry. Happy corner. When I meet a happy friendly dog it enhances my day. Next door have a lovely black labrador so I shouldn't complain.

Turns out the Judge told Tommy he would get a reduced sentence if he took down a video on his website. Tommy said “No” and therefore got 18 months. Normally after 7 months he would be paroled with good behaviour but it looks like he will be freed in < 5 months, with good behaviour.
..... anyhow this being Happy Corner....looks to me like the starlings are getting twitchy. Really tweety today.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 7:33 pmTurns out the Judge told Tommy he would get a reduced sentence if he took down a video on his website. Mummy bear had 6 new cubs. That’s not normal for this time of year in Canada. Apparently it’s due to delayed implantation. I can imagine but not sure I fully understand etc.
Anyhow, mum has now got 10 to look after, she must be exhausted. Bless her.
Quite honestly round here birdlife has vanished. It's really, really weird.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 9:30 pmTrue.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2024 9:03 pm..... anyhow this being Happy Corner....looks to me like the starlings are getting twitchy. I put out large bowls of venison, berries and fish for mum. She will need feeding up for her cubs and winter coming. Obviously, it’s nature and she should provide, while she probably ways over 200 kg, 10 cubs is allot to look after on her own.
If I could, then would give her a big hug but obviously that wouldn’t end well for myself.
Gotta love nature though.
