Huge movement (which is not a surprise) on the share price of his Media & Technology group this morning

All the Biden enablers have got lot to answer for, signs of his decline were evident early on in his presidency. As mad as it is that Trump is a president, Biden being in the race up until July is almost as crazy

I'm not at all surprised Trump won, but the scale of victory is astounding. He's smashed the popular vote and I never saw that coming.

Will be interesting to see how quickly he "resolves" Ukraine and Israel. How will he punish us for having a Labour government?

Interesting times ahead.

Surprised the markets havent bounced back much higher. FTSE only up 1.1%?

Perhaps when the US markets open things will be different?

Tesla up 13% pre-trade...

Perhaps some of the UK stuff just reflects market certainty returning..

Should be a big bounce when Wall Street opens.

Look at the last 5 years for the FTSE. Effectively flatline if you remove covid and Ukraine. Sure if you can gain from small movements still happy days. Long term growth is pretty poor. That's why my investments are spread around the world. The FTSE has been crap since Brexit arrived on the agenda. And that isn't a grumpy remainer. It's plain fact.

Bitcoin sky rocketed through the night to new highs, I hadn't even considered the impact there could be on crypto and certainly didn't expect such a spike

Don't know anything about crypto. For me it's like the goldrush. Head for a new life because your life is terrible and you have nothing to lose. I am fortunate, I do have something to lose.
As they say, only gamble what you are happy to lose.

Any big wins then? Worst result I've seen thus far is -700k

But surely it's the one market where it's mandatory to hedge your opinion

People will eventually have to give some credit to DT, laid out his strategy long before he even ran, and then went and it did it (twice!)

Lost all my built up green plus an additional £54. My first "red" election that I can remember. :(

Made four figures on the UK election though so small fry in the grand scheme.
