Honestly happy for Shaun to get a deserved break, like I've said in the past nobody has done more pro bono work and posted more newbie advice.

Not heard from him in a while but he did say he wanted to focus a lot more "and make hay while the sun shines".

Personally thought his selfless contributions were underappreciated at times and irked some the wrong way, so I've been telling him for years to embrace brevity at the very least, or be more like Anbell :D

My view was simply that he'd make his big BF comeback much sooner, by all means do try to help every single person on here, but not at the direct expense of your own trading!

on the same note, does anyone know what happened to Trader Pat ?? just seemed to stop posting in 2022 after a fairly engaged period.

I have not seen The Silk Run on here for a while either. Less time but a few months now.

True about Trader Pat and The Silk Run. I unwittingly upset the latter. Which hurt 'cos The Silk Run was a conduit of calm and understanding. C'est la vie.

She's probably still lurking around, to keep tabs on Dex if anything :)

Miss Trader Pat dearly though, and Kafkaesque as well :| Those were some fun times, with so many in-depth trading discussions and many a shared laugh.

Doesn't get much more like-minded than that!

Hello all, hope you're all well. I've just been trying to get my work/life balance in a better shape, and the forum was impacting on both without enough upside. As I don't do moderation well I decided to give it a miss for a while to break the habit. All quite dull really.

tbh GPT hasn't helped, i just chat shit with it now instead, and then it gives me more work things to do than I have time for.

It's not getting much better is it ....
