Speculation in German media that Chancellor Olaf Sholz called Putin to discuss ways of re-establishing energy supply contracts with Moscow.

If true, dirty fcuking German c??ts.
Germany's the only nation taking Putin's threats seriously. Sir Michael Clarke said today, Germany's national sport at the moment is dithering.

If I was a nut. If I put myself in Putin's shoes now I would nuke Odessa when there is a favourable wind. It's either world war 3 or most likely Putin wins.

I will just update this, I would use one of my mate Kim's devices, a North Korean Nuke.

People, Russia is not going to Nuke anyone:

1. They expected to take Ukraine in 48 hours.
2. Russian Spetsnaz special forces were originally formed in Ukraine. Its abit like comparing the Australian SAS to the British SAS. Good but never trained to the same level.
3. In the first 3 months 80,000 grade 1 level Russian Troops, 400 Russian Tanks, 900 Russian Missile Launchers went missing, to this day, nobody knows what happened to them. Ask Mulder and Skully what happened. Personally I suspect they did a runner when the shit started flying. These weren't conscripts.
4. 18 Russian Generals have been killed.
5. 1 Russian Admiral has been killed.
6. Russian doesnt officially confirm the number killed in conflicts since the Ahganistan war. But the estimate for Russian losses in Ukraine is between 462,000 and 728,000 killed or wounded.
7. Everyone said you cant stop a hypersonic missle. Somehow, the USA and Ukraine figured out how to do it. Neither of which has revealed how.
8. It was confirmed that killed or captured Russian soldiers had medical kits with an end date of 1999, 10 year shelf life. Which means they had first been issued during the Russia v Afghanistan war, 1979 and 1989.
9. Russia has 5,700 nukes. Assuming they ALL work, they need to target all NATO countries and their military assets around the world including Submarines. They cant just launch them all at say the UK mainland. They could but would then be wiped off the world map. The UK's nuclear deterrent is at sea. Meaning, you may destroy the UK but your going to get some 224 nukes back at military/infrastructure/political targets. Plus the USA will be highly likely to launch there 4,900 nukes. And dont forget the USA has army bases in Germany, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands which all have nukes. The USA controls their launch rules, not the country they are in. And, France has around 300 nukes. So my point, Russia is going to have to target allot externally while everyone else only needs to target 1 country.
10. China has warned Putin/Russia against launching evern 1 nuke. Russia needs China, especially next year, economically. China wants and needs to make money, it cant do that if someone starts launching nukes.

But, the biggest risk here is what happend back during the original cold war, being, a miscalculation on either side.

However, if your really worried about it and live within 30 miles of an Army, Air or Naval Base then get yourself an Atlas Bunker installed. Stay in it for 30 days with food, water and electricity. Then go walkabouts for short periods of time to find the stuff you need. Don't let anyone know you have a bunker and be prepared to defend what you have with your life.

Stay safe. :)

Vladimir Soloviev has stated on Russia 1, the Russian state channel that

To use their Storm Shadow, their SCALP and their ATACMS, you need a launcher, the missile itself and a satellite navigation system. For us, there is a simple answer, let's destroy NATO satellites and more specifically, the American satellites that fly above us. They could not prevent it, it would be a challenge for them, a real slap in the face because America has always declared that attacking its satellites is a declaration of war, by doing this, we would be getting back at them by saying, you want a Cuban missile crisis? You will have a Cuban missile crisis, with each strike (with American weapons), there will be a satellite on the ground."

For anyone who thinks Russia may not have the ability to shoot down satellites, here's a US report from 2021.

Russia is more likely to target underwater cables, Russian ships are often spotted off the coast of Ireland. Remaining stationary for weeks. I suspect they are trying to locate the huge underwater cables going across the Atlantic Ocean. Cut those and that would be very serious for the west.

The presence of Mutley in you id is apt. A Mutlry chuckle was alll I could summon up in response to the title of that link.
Unless you insist I'm not even going to explore that link.
The concept is beyond common sense.
Simple - nuclear attack - you die - if you don't die,the world you will live in will not be worth living in.

A bottle of brown sauce has told Sky News that Ukraine have fired storm shadow missiles into Russia, but they're waiting for information from a more reliable sauce.
