Today's Football
Amazing night of football, city allowing Feyenoord to come back, and Plymouth thumped 6-1, two struggling managers of English clubs at the moment.
IMO the difference between the managers are Pep will turn it around, but with Birmingham last year and now Plymouth with the worst goal difference in their league, and having conceded 34 goals from 17 league matches, I expect Rooney will not last much longer at Plymouth.

I don't think they will finish in the top 3.
Chelsea or Arsenal to win the league. City 3rd. Liverpool 4th is my prediction.
Basic bitch tribalism aside, where I think each team will finish as things stand:
1. Liverpool
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
5. Aston Villa
6. Brighton
7. Newcastle
8. Man Utd
9. Nottingham Forest
10. Brentford
11. Bournemouth
12. Fulham
13. West Ham
14. Wolves
15. Everton
16. Southampton
17. Crystal Palace
18. Leicester
19. Ipswich
1. Liverpool
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
5. Aston Villa
6. Brighton
7. Newcastle
8. Man Utd
9. Nottingham Forest
10. Brentford
11. Bournemouth
12. Fulham
13. West Ham
14. Wolves
15. Everton
16. Southampton
17. Crystal Palace
18. Leicester
19. Ipswich
Apologies, I will update the league table
1. Liverpool
2. Arsenal
3. Chelsea
4. Tottenham
5. Aston Villa
6. Brighton
7. Newcastle
8. Man Utd
9. Nottingham Forest
10. Brentford
11. Bournemouth
12. Fulham
13. West Ham
14. Wolves
15. Everton
16. Southampton
17. Crystal Palace
18. Leicester
19. Ipswich
115. Man City*
*(projected to finish somewhere in League Two based on Opta Vision AI)

Didn't see the City debacle, but Rooney losing 6-1 doesn't surprise me anymore. I think this is the end of his managerial career. And in a strange way I feel sorry for him. What's he going to do now? Wherever he goes he'll be recognised so has no freedom like us. Fame and wealth means zip if you don't have things that challenge and uplift you. He's barely more than a sprog in life.conduirez wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 10:26 pmAmazing night of football, city allowing Feyenoord to come back, and Plymouth thumped 6-1, two struggling managers of English clubs at the moment.

I feel sorry for Rooney as well, I think he is one of the lads and the lads see him that way, he seems to lack that air of authority that good managers possess.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:40 pmDidn't see the City debacle, but Rooney losing 6-1 doesn't surprise me anymore. Wish I was in charge, I would stick them way down in a Sunday morning pub league.

John Eustace was sacked to accommodate Rooney at the blues and they dropped like a stone.Must be tough going from adrenaline soaked glory and being adored to being someone that has to find a new career. But then again how many people have the opportunity of being parachuted into jobs. In his case 4 times managerially and so far has failed every time.conduirez wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 2:44 pmI feel sorry for Rooney as well, I think he is one of the lads and the lads see him that way, he seems to lack that air of authority that good managers possess.greenmark wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2024 1:40 pmDidn't see the City debacle, but Rooney losing 6-1 doesn't surprise me anymore.
