Bet365 EW Bets doubt

Hi guys,

Not sure if i should post this here or the bookmakers area.

I'm taking some bets at bet365 based on betfair odds changing.

Just not sure if it's exactly the same:
1. Placing an eachway bet throught the first tab that appears when i open the race.
2. Placing an eachway bet throught the eachway extra tab by selecting the number of places that the race offers as a normal offer (not extra or less).

The odds are exactly the same.

I took a few bets in the eachway extra tab (exactly like described) and there were races where there were 11/12 runners and i got my selection in 2nd place but there were no winnings from the Place part of the bet so just not sure this is the same bet.
