I'd be laying any team playing into the wind )
That may not work that way round. An 'under-hit' pass (playing into the wind) is easier to retrieve than an 'over-hit' pass (playing with the wind) that sails out of play.
You could well be right. I was never known for my footy expertise )
Higher winds tend to lead to less control and more ground passes. So that produces less goals.

But of course slick pitches increase mistakes and goals. So each match will be slightly different depending on conditions.

He's right. With the wind it's about controlling the extra energy and it is difficult. Golfers are pretty good at this.
Playing footy I prefered playing into the breeze. The general view was defence, midfield, keep the ball on the ground. Attack....over to you, mate!!!

At the level I played at wind was a big advantage ! (even if you were using a tennis ball)

Where ever I was told to go - usually to cause least damage...

Did manage to sign for an amateur team in goals though )

 such is the life of an amateur footballer. I ended up in goal for a five-a-side team, mainly because nobody else would. Jeez, shots on the nose, in the groin, but the worst was a desperate hand and resulting hyperextended finger as I got an inch not close enough to the ball.

Off at a tangent here.
But the swoopy Adidas kit is just a mess. It looks like they're wearing a nappy or bungy jump equipment.

Surely City aren't going to lose again?

A draw is as bad as a loss at the moment for City, and now they are down to ten now.

I want City back, I like a close end to the season with lots of teams fighting for the title.

All over, and City players moaning at the referee.

The only explanations I have for City's implosion is Pep has a new contract with a juicy severance deal, so he doesn't care any more OR Pep has a plan to overhaul the squad and the players agents know it, so they've knocked off. Flip-flops on.
But whatever the truth is have you ever seen such a rapid decline of a seemingly invincible team?

I wear a cup now. Players seem to think the harder they hit it from 6 yards away the more likely it is to go in the goal.
