I think Chelsea's problem has been the way the club was run. At Old Trafford, Fergie has the final say about everything football related. But at Chelsea, Abramovic likes to interfere. If he'd just stood back and let Morinho work his magic, without interference, Chelsea would by now possibly be the strongest club in the world...

The warning signs have been there all season - United have conceded more attempts on goal than any other team so far this season. You can't keep doing that and hope to get away with it. Difference yesterday was that City are a quality outfit who clinically took advantage. Ferguson was right when he said that United's defending was suicidal.
Normally United respond well to days like yesterday we will have to wait and see now what happens. Hopefully Ferguson will now realise that there is a lack of creativity in the middle of the park and that Jonny Evans should be nowhere near the first team (beginning to wonder if that is true for Rio now too).
Still think United will finish above City this season - I'm just waiting for the usual City comedy show when they cock it like only they know how

They lost at home to Arsenal at the weekend, and this evening they drew against vastly inferior opponents.
If they want to win anything this year, they'd better start playing like they're the best.
You'd have thought Chelsea would have had a honeymoon period under Villas-Boas. If they did, it didn't last very long!

i was working the st johnstone v abedeen game and it has been suspended im in a difficult position with a back bet not matched and showing 119.00 red,
any one know how they settle this.perhaps the match has been abandoned.its not due off for another 2 hours and 20 mins

Spurs are 44.0 to win the Premiership, and I'm tempted to have a small bet. I don't think they'll do it - IMHO, City should walk it if they maintain their current form - but I reckon it's a value bet.

The market has slightly underestimate Tottenham strenght last night. They won 4 out 5 games at home so far. The only loss was against MAN CITY 1-5. Same for Man UTd they won every single match at home eccept for that 1-6 loss against MAN CITY. The correct odds suppose to be around 1.37 HW, but on kick off the odds were around 1.5 for the HW. Aston Villa in the last 20 minutes of the game was just defending the 2-0 which is very unusual for a team that is 2-0 down. That shows the good work of the coach and the current tottenham strenght . It`s still early days, you should really look which team are behind tottenham @ 22 points---- Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. The top 2 are obviously from an other planet at the moment. Man City has won 11 games out 12, they were 0-2 up against Fulham, they had the game in their hand but fulham managed to draw, otherwise we would see 12 out 12 wins. Man city scored around 42 goal out 12 matches, adding 11 wins out 12 is probably the best record of all time in the premier league, but still Man Utd is only 5 points behind. Tottenham to win the premiership like you said it`s very unlikely. You need to check all the matches from now to end of december to value all the possible opponents of each team I have mentioned. If you are lucky and chelsea, arsenal, liverpool, Man city and Man utd struggle for couple matches we may see tottenham shortening...Tottenham is playing Home vs Everton tough...If I were you I would give it a go.. good luck with that...

At the moment Arsenal (87 mins gone) are the only English team guaranteed to be playing Champions League in March 2012. I hope you made that bet. Tottenham is on 26/1 now. man ud 1-1 and arsenal 1-1 it`s the scenario I was talking you about. Man city 2morrow match may change that even further if they did not win. The market could not predict Man utd extremely bad luck against newcastle so take that as a bonus if you actually did back the 44/1 for tottenham. If I were you I would leave 40% of the green on tottenham to win. Man city has 36% shot to win 2morrow and tottenham has much higher shot against everton. good luck
