I am trying to dutch the top 3 favourites in a horse race with an included Book Percentage Condition
I can do this without including a Book Percentage Condition and it works completely fine, but I want to only trigger my dutch backed bets when the Book Percentage is lower than 60.01%, however when including this condition for the 3 back bet rules (that all have the parameter of By book% setup so each back bet is included in the dutching process), all races are ignored, including selections that are lower than 60.01% for the book value.
I have put the condition on each of the three back bets.
Could someone please take a look at my file and see where this could possibly be going wrong?
ADDITIONAL
I see that Book% is calculated to 1 decimal place in Bet Angel.
I am wondering if the value of 60.01% (2 dp) is being treated as an invalid value (despite no possible error validation) and therefore screwing the condition and never triggering the rule?
I have changed the condition on each of the 3 back bet rules "from less than 60.01%" to "from less than 60.1%". I shall test it the races later on today, but if there's no difference I am back to square one.
Stuck with a Book Percentage Condition
Book % is typically close to 100% near the start of the race, and only under 60% many many many hours before the racesmgreyuk wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 11:35 pmI am trying to dutch the top 3 favourites in a horse race with an included Book Percentage Condition

This is a ready made file from Dallas. If you are talking about the combine book percentage of the 3 selections this will work you just need to adjust the book percentage until you achieve the range you want

Thanks for your help.
I downloaded this file and tried it today but unfortunately it didn't trigger once.
All I changed was the "total for the market" values to be greater than 39 and less than 61 for all three Dutch rules with this file, have you had any experience with using this yourself? Am I missing something obvious?
ADDITIONAL
After looking deeper, I can see a signal has been set for when the 1st and 2nd book values combined are over 50 and then it sets the signal, then it only ever works out the 3rd fav if this signal is set, which may have been taking the purpose of what I was trying to do off course.
I shall remove said signal along with any conditions relating to said signal and see if it gets it on track and then report back

Here's updated version of your file. I have just added two rules.
The first gets the selection % . The second adds them up.
The SV you want is (DUTCH3), This will give you the % that you’re looking for. See the log.

Hi,
Is there a way to Dutch say 3 or 4 selections which will trigger within a certain book % range (combined) within a selected time period?
For Example you have 3 Guardian selections and you want to dutch them anytime in the last 10 minutes, if their combined book percentage is say between 60 - 75%.

Indeed there is, and that's what I have set up in the conditions for each of the back bets involved in the dutch.
The above shows with a top 2 dutch on 1st and 2nd fave, but the concept is the same. Go to your conditions on the back rule and set a Stored Value Condition on the Store Value DUTCH3 (or in the example above I have a DUTCH2 version) for a greater than and less than and input any values you like
If you need anymore help, please give me a shout
