Match of the day when Lineker steps down?......
Sure, that works actually 👍

Nobody watches it :)

Looks like the title is Liverpool's for the losing ... Arsenal have given up the chance to claw 4 points back on them
Not sure Arsenal are finished yet. The last few years have shown Arteta is very determined. City however look in disarray. Left and right defence are weak and Haaland seems isolated. But most of all Pep seems unable to improve things. Today's game is massive for both clubs.

Mason Mount could get injured watching Casualty.

Never watched a game where I don't care who wins or loses. Pep's troubles go on.

Man City's collpase is pretty spectacular. You expect a wobble, but not something like this.

Over to Chelsea. 5-2 4-1 3-1 something like that? Like these Sunday 7pm kick offs. Game on.

Much like the end of all dynasties but with added 130 charges. No-one knows if they want to be there anymore.

85 mins of the most boring mundane big team derby I've ever watched. Diallo getting better and better, fully deserved his goal. Haaland and Foden absolutely anonymous, Flashscore has Gvardiol as Citys highest rated player and the winner went through his legs for fuck sake!

The way things are going Pep couldn't buy a win in a brothel with a fistful of 50s

If city can't raise themselves against their most bitter rivals it's clear they are finished and so is Pep. And I think it's Pep's motivation that has changed. He doesn't care any more.

Think City are on course to finish in the bottom half of the table, only 3 points difference to drop out of top 10.

Chelsea had some remarkable collapses in the past 10 years, finishing 12th in 22/23 season, and 10th in 15/16.

But it's yet another reminder of how quickly things can change in football.

I was watching an Aussie stream so didn't see any of Keano's comments. Was he doing a freakout? In a normal full blood derby you'd expect 5+ yellows and maybe a red, full on tackles and all that.
Todays game seemed like one of those dodgy league end of season games where all other teams have played so both sides are happy with a win but will settle for a draw, and it's not the end of the world if they lose either, complete Meh-ism.

@Euler Sorry for your fandom, that must be absolutely devastating for any kids going to the game that have been hyped up all weekend to see their boys play one of the top teams and then get to see an absolute shitshow. McDonalds in Southampton will be selling a lot of Happy Meals this evening!

Spurs under Ange definitely have the ability to blow teams away, they scored 4 at the Etihad as well.

But they've got their own issues on the other side of the pitch, crazy goal difference considering their league position 👀

Overall Big Ange a fantastic addition to the league and the neutrals alike, deserves a bit more support from the fanbase for me.

Blimey. Pep says "I'm not good enough".

IMO that is saying he wants out.

The 6 fingers up for Anfield singing "You're getting sacked in the morning" was a weird one I thought. They're past glories man, your job is based on current and very recent performances, which are abysmal. That's like Forest fans singing about their glory of 1979-1990 years. Which wasn't too far away from me getting St Mary's FC Under-12 player of the year in 1993.

Forget what I said, yaaaaaay to past glories!!!
All is forgiven Pep, stay on your personal Titanic buddy!

Whatever about City missing Rodri for a while, you don't go on such a shit run just because 1 player is missing, unless he's Roy Of The Rovers.
