Blank chart data

This might be one of those silly questions but here goes.

I thought i had a clever idea of having various times in my charts. So charts on ladders with short period like 1 or 2 mins, BF charts on separate screen showing full day, and some advanced charts showing a longer short range period like 15 or 20 minutes. I set it all up but just started opening some in play markets (soccer) to see how it works. Each time I open a new market there's no 20 minute chart data, it starts plotting when I open it. I assume thats how the software works, but is there a way around it? A way to get data before i open the market?
