the shape of things to come
I think NLP has fooled a lot of people into thinking current AI is more intelligent than they think. Which is actually quite clever. I spend a lot of time chatting in advanced voice mode. But purely from the perspective of learning more. I'm digging into some arcane areas in an attempt to get more insight. It's a great consultant if somewhat biased sometimes.
But for the first time ever I can have a 24x7 PhD in my pocket I can chat too.
This is somewhat ironic as the biggest fallouts I've had in this space, apart from conmen, are PhDs. They have this bias that some people don't deserve an opinion if you don't have a PhD. Doesn't matter if you have irrefutable proof they are wrong, your opinion doesn't matter.
Of course there is lots of stuff going on in this area. But I think all markets are driven as much by opinion as facts, so learning to interpret who things will play out in a market is key.
I wonder if to get to AGI, AI will need to become 'emotional'

5.00 @ Wolves just now...
Foggy as hell, very poor pictures and presumably no drones.
All down the home straight TPD says Mallorca is going to win then changes it's mind to Merchant in the last 25 yards.
£4k done at 1.01 and the winner matched all the way up to 310.
Kerching!

Our Government can't even identify what a women is never mind what AI is, the technology horse bolted a long time a go. Government are miles behind the curve.ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2024 5:28 pm‘Godfather of AI’ says it could drive humans extinct in 10 years'

Imagine a technology debate in The House of Commons Diane Abbot will have an abacus out, Jacob Rees Mogg will be calling for pen and paper not to be abolished while the Green Party will be calling for 3D printed hummus to save the planet.

Humans are driving us to extinction so I don't see how AI could do a worse job.

I personally don’t think all poker bots are detectable. Been running one on 8 different rooms for the last 5 months and so far never been flagged.
- Block the software they remotely install to scan and send logs back to their servers.
- Randomise decisions from 1 to 5 seconds.
- Turn your camera off.
- Randomise bluffing.
- 2,820 rules for Preflop, Flop, Turn, River.
- Randomly send messages to the table.
- Use AI interaction to reply to chats.
- Randomise time playing slots.
- Randomise type of tables played.
- Adjust your playing style based on passive/ aggressive tables and players.
- Use a different screen name and email address to other sites and.
- Clean your browser history before accessing any gambling site.
- Don’t play more than 3 tables at once.
- Randomise your bathroom breaks and sit outs.
- Makesure you reply to any support emails asap.

I would think developing in-house AI would be prohibitively expensive?
Outsourced AI would leave you at the mercy of changing inputs/outputs that you have no control over. I.e. Unless you're in control of it, it's kind of useless to you using someone else's model...

If you go into ChatGPT and select Explore GPTs there's hundreds of GPTs that have to been developed by the community.
