Morning all - for the first time, I may have found something that realistically brings US markets into play.
Problem is, their timings are 'relaxed' to say the least.
Some venues seem quite happy to send races off early, so I have had to extend the range of my 'restrict refresh' settings, which obviously has a detrimental effect upon the speed of cycling through the rules.
I know that I can remove markets, but having set up my lists, I'm very used to being able to view the historic data I display, and do not wish to lose this info.
Is there/could there be added a broader scope that is parsed above individual rule level, so that we could flag a market to be completely ignored, even if it is within the refresh window?
Thanks

I would love to see an overhaul of the market management and refresh structure in Guardian. Some way of classifying markets into priority groupings that can be set and amended manually in Guardian, but also managed automatically within a rulefile.

eg you would be able to set a market to automatically move from low to medium priority refresh as it approaches offtime, and then up to maximum priority when it goes in-play, and then back to low when the race is complete.

It would also be really useful to be able to automatically remove markets when they are complete.

This would be a game changer for me.

We are open to suggestions for improving the software, but we often have to find a solution that doesn't confuse or complicate things too much for the average user.

I appreciate that (as I do the BA software, hugely) nevertheless
while I'd love the flexibility suggested by jamesedwards', my own
was simply for a binary include/exclude option.
Something like the facility to insert the market name into a
BA-wide history list?
Anyway - just a thought. Thanks for the work and the product

I realise that I posted this in the wrong place - Doh!

Is there a way to to move it to the suggestions section, to see whether it could gain any weight?
