Drill baby drill, I'm looking forward to watch Trump absolutely destroy DEI with the stroke of a pen.
Embarrassing watching our Government especially David Lammy lick Trump's arse now after rinsing him when they were in opposition it shows you how desperate Labour are. Starmer will have to get the begging bowl out and accept what Trump gives him.

I agree about Lammy. Say what you mean and mean what you say, Don't row back, ever.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 7:17 pmDrill baby drill, I'm looking forward to watch Trump absolutely destroy DEI with the stroke of a pen.

I'd actually have a bit of respect towards Lammy and other labour MP's who stood by their comments despite not agreeing with there politics. What makes it worse is they come on TV and try to distance themselves form there own comments. To scared of loosing a cabinet job or whip so more than happy to morally bankrupt themselves at the drop of a hat.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 8:44 pmI agree about Lammy. Trump talks his country up ... in his first day in office Starmer talked his country down. I know which I would rather have as a leader.
For all his bluster, Johnson was pretty good at it. Heck, Johnson was better at politics. Starmer isn’t and it will be his undoing, he isn’t a salesman and that is what a PM should be able to do as part of their skill set.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2025 9:29 pmTrump talks his country up ... in his first day in office Starmer talked his country down. Going to be a hell of a ride that's for sure, if he pulls most off especially with the economy it'll have massive repercussions on the right of politics for the UK and Europe it'll become more or less unstoppable.
