Very sad news coming out of Ireland this morning.
https://x.com/ihrb_ie/status/1891019752 ... 33/photo/1It is with deep sadness that we share this announcement. Punchestown will not race today as a mark of respect to Michael O’Sullivan who has passed.
His family, friends and racing colleagues are in our thoughts and prayers.
A very sad day. RIP.

Horse racing is entertainment for the masses, jockeys risk risk life and limb for that entertainment for nothing more than the love of the sport. RIP Michael O’SullivanEuler wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 8:26 amVery sad news coming out of Ireland this morning.

Yep nothing but love and the wages. Lots of people die doing their job, sports doesn’t even make the top 10. At least it was something he enjoyed doing...Michael5482 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 9:52 amHorse racing is entertainment for the masses, jockeys risk risk life and limb for that entertainment for nothing more than the love of the sport.

Yes they do but most jobs are not for peoples entertainment, a completely classes post using someones death to put an irrelevant point across.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 10:04 amYep nothing but love and the wages. You can't even bring yourself to to even offer one ounce of compassion, what a classless individual you are.

Just tired of sportsman being lionised. But you've missed my point, rather than classesless it recognises all deaths as being equally tragic and deserving of compassion. The fact he's in the entertainment industry seems to be irrelevant.
