You backed a selection asking for 15 and you were matched at 12???? Does Betdaq have some clunky thing like "Match Me" (or whatever it is called) whereby you give consent to get matched at a poorer price than you ask for?? If not that is absolutely shocking.
When you get a chance do read my post on page 6 of this thread where I tried to jump the queue by requesting odds of 2.0 and actually got matched at 2.0!

For sure, that is dodgy but you asked for 2.0 and got 2.0 - not LESS than 2.0. Asking for 15 and getting matched at 12 when backing is not just breaking of BPE, it is NEVER supposed to happen (unless there is some account setting as I mentioned where you allow them to match you lower).
You do realise I'm not seriously wishing to be matched at 2.0 just trying to get matched quickly. I've been using Bedaq and Betfair since they launched and this NEVER happens on Betfair. TBH it's wise to request just a few ticks lower than the show but liquidity on Betdaq is often crap and there's no guarantee you'll be matched in time.

Having said all this in my own experience I sometimes get matched close to the price on show but never the exact price. It's annoying after being matched seeing the price bounce up past the previous show.

Yes of course I realise that - I said it is bad, but theoretically it COULD happen if the market was thin enough. Getting matched for a price LOWER than your ask price is very different though and should not happen in any situation.

Fair enough but do you see my point? I could understand if a race was in play and you notice a horse finishing well it could very well go from 12s to 2.0 in a couple of seconds. If you wanted to get on you may well have to ask for 2.0 and wouldn't complain if that's what you got. However a pre off race market getting matched at 2.0 when the show was 12 is clearly something wrong even if you asked for 2.0.
