Would having "draggable" flags on the ladder screen be of benefit to you?

1. Yes, that is a brilliant idea & I love it.

A lot of the trading / value betting can depend on defined entry & exit points.

We can use "Markers" to display these on the ladder and SV's to display & edit on the one click screen.

It would be really handy to be able to "drag" these position around on the ladders (by selection), rather than having to edit individually on the one click screen or say rely on automation to reset over whatever time period.

An example could be we decide that a price less than 2, for a particular selection represents a value lay and a bot or servant is running in the background to kick in when price meets that criteria.

But due to market dynamics you decide that actually the price should be < 1.8. The new functionality would allow you to override the "2" position by "dragging" the flag down to 1.8 manually. This would stop any automation from firing until new price point reached.

Note: all of above can already be done by manually editing an SV on the one click screen. The new bit just allows you change that value much more easily, quickly & visually.

It's the first thing that I missed from my old software when I started using BA. In all honesty I quickly forgot all about it, but it would be very welcome to be able to drag bets around the ladder, or left/right clicking to move the nearest bet up/down. Very handy when you're scalping an active market as placing a bet is as quick as taking your finger off the touchpad.

Actually, I just realised you could get a servant to do this using mouse context feature !

I was going to post this before Sionasaig realised I was possible.

Add this to a hotkey or short cut in the servant manager.
If you use a hotkey just hover the mouse over the price you want then fire the hotkey
here’s a file

(A) ADD MARKER.baf
You can use SV = (ADD_MARKER) to add a marker

You can then use the (ADD_MARKER) SV for other tasks such as green out.

The hot key should be set up like this >

Not sure I follow this thread but I was looking round the forum to see if there's a way to do what I want. It's very basic, I just want to be able to highlight in some way any prices i choose on the ladder. So if I am thinking 'if the favourite trades above 2.5 i will get involved, and if the second favourite trades below 3.7 i wil get involved there ..'
I would like to be able to just click on the price on tghe ladder to 'mark' it, dont really care how, bold, change colour, box around.. Just a visual reminder of an assessment i made earlier so i dont forget! I have tried using right click stop loss but that doesnt really do it very well. does this thread do what i am looking for?

Sounds like you need to increase your stakes to a number that makes you pay attention. You won't forget what you were doing when you've got £1000 on the table instead of £1.

Brill ta. I am not too up to speed on the tech side of Bet Angel. If I download the file above, where do I import it? Do I have to go into the servant thing above ladders, or just go into settings/hotkeys and set it up from there?

Earlier you said :

"You can use SV = (ADD_MARKER) to add a marker
You can then use the (ADD_MARKER) SV for other tasks such as green out."

Can you please say what 'SV' means?
thanks

You have to Import it to Guardian.
Guardian > Automation > Import a rules file.

Once that’s done, create a hot key that starts the above file with the (Automation servants) category.

SV =Stored Value

Sorry not sure I understand and not sure it is what i need.

I have never imported any files into Guardian. I barely use it, I use the watch list. But I do have a couple of servants I created so I can hit a key combination to enter a couple of orders around current price.

I assumed this would just be a new option I can choose in Servants to (for example) hit Ctrl-Click on a price to mark it somehow on the ladder and make it clearly visible, as a reminder to me of a price point I am interested in. I want to do this on several ladders in each market.

Basically just like the ladder settings I downloaded that shade the fractional odds prices a different colour, I want to do something like that manually with a click here and there on each ladder in each market.

Will this do that? The mention of Guardian and 'automation' makes me think the wires are crossed a bit here. i just want hot key to highlight some prices.
