Hi all,
Just finding my feet at the moment and hoping someone could help with a little automation.
I've created a few bots now. They log a stored value 10 mins out, however for the stored value to log/activate, I have to be present in the market 610 seconds before (10 additional seconds to be safe). However its for an inplay stratgery and the race could go on for aslong as 6 minutes which in a busy day, overlapping races will occure. which will therefore stop one market prematurely before the race has finished and jump to the next one, allowing the in play bots to not fire.
Is there anyway to get around this so the bots fire even if the races overlap?
Thank you
Em
Overlapping races
Ah its really frustrating, I'm having to remove markets so they don't over lap one another so I can get my foot in the door.
Has anyone had this issue before?
How did you get around the issue to enable the bots to run on all runners even with stored values to be able to log and over alpping races.
Thanks EM

You don't need the markets open. You need to make sure the market is refreshed within Guardian during the trigger period.
Do one of more of the following;
> increase the refresh rate in Guardian so all markets are cycled through quicker
> extend the trigger period to give the Guardian cycle more time to hit each market
> use the 'restrict refresh' option to speed up the market cycle within a set time band
> reduce the number of markets in Guardian so all markets are cycled through quicker

Thanks for the replies.
At this point early on in bot development, I’m not too bothered about singling out lower quality races. I’m just looking to bet on all markets for a month until data is collected so I can roughly then build a model on what works well and which don’t.
I may have to apply the same bots to the races I’ve had to remove in another window, as a work around, however limits the amounts of bots in the future I can create.
Also the fresh intervals are all set with lowest ms and before the stored values are logged however it’s skipping the races when they’re about to go in play, surely there must be a way to allow multiple markets to run at any time without them bottle necking themselves when they overlap

Just an update on things as mentioned by james.
I did not need to tick the automatic market switcher, the markets rally through themsleves, I've also ran the refresh to 20ms and also only applied the markets to the day, increase upload refresh times.
Thanks all

You can set Restrict Refresh to 610 (plus a little bit) seconds
